that's like my dogs... some know "wanna go the store" means "do you want to go to the store with me?" some only know "wanna?" and just jump around like they're on crack because they want whatever it is that's up for grabs.

Yeah, he knows that "come here" means I want him to come to me, or he wants me to come to him; he knows that "say good night Mike" means he gets to go to sleep; that you say "Hello" when the phone rings; "Is it good" is how he asks me to share some of my food with him; "Give me a kiss" is the one that he misuses the most often, sometimes he really wants a kiss, but usually he just uses it to say he wants something, and it's up to me to figure out what.

That's interesting! I started my career in crypto (other side of the house though, and contracting out of Virginia, not in the military - still DOD signing the checks, because my employer didn't exist back then... )

oh adrenalynn, that's cool. the unit i was in was attached to the NSA, not to our base, so i'm pretty familiar with the... other side of the house. have some contacts here in NoVA as well. nice to meet a fellow crypto!

Ditto! It's not too often you meet other women in crypto. Although it's been a looooong time. Certainly not current. I moved from crypto to data compression. Same thing, more lucrative.

i'm out now--i was a korean linguist for the AF, we have a weird system compared to the other branches and the civilian side. sounds like what you did is more similar to what my half-bro went to school for, he's interviewing with a civilian entity soon. i was more of, how you say, a spy.
