So my wife and I have recently gotten into vaping - and now she's looking for different mods she might like. And, of course, she got one specific idea stuck in her head.... so I'm coming to the collective minds here to see if anyone can tell me if this exists -

She is looking for something that looks like the cigarette holder you see in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Does anyone know if anything like that exists...or is possible?
Not very practical, I know... but my wife isn't always a practical woman.

if you have a auto battery you could just put the e-cig at the end of one of those cig holders

That was my first thought as well - might be a bit top heavy though...
that and it would be great to actually be able to use all that space, woudln't it?

Thanks for the suggestions guys - if we come up with something that fits I'll let you know.

DonDaBoomVape said that a Penstyle reminds him of an old fashioned cigarette holder. He's right - it does sort of look like that. I love mine - I use a Rn4072. It's not quite as long a Holly's in the picture (only six inches), but your wife might like it. A black atty with a white batt would look cool. Here are pics:

I think the main problem is shape of the batteries... Smallest ones i know are 10440 i use with my GG SS...

Another problem is the length of the tube with the proximity of the switch...

Maybe be with very small batteries and fake batteries who allow the conduction...

I actually wanted one of these, too.

I found a nice extendable dinner length cigarette holder that unfortunately had too small of an end to hold my ecig (MV sidesho w/ volcano attys)

What I ended up doing was chopping off the closed end of an outer cart then taking a rubber cart cap and shoving a bic pen cartridge through there till it went past where the ink was and chopped that off (one could conceivably use a coffee stir, but that wouldn't have the pointy end to aid in piercing and it might not be strong enough) then I used a razor to shave the cap down to fit in the end of the chopped off cart and the cigarette holder.

with the attys I use I can't fit an cart in there (so I drip), but I'm going to be trying with a mv atty soon and it might work alright with a volcano inner cart.

I'll also try to take pictures soon if you're interested.

it's a solid enough rubber that it holds the weight of the ecig up, and the whole thing is a bit heavy on the end, so I might try to find some way to add some weight to the mouthpiece end to balance things, but overall it works great for me and looks fantastic (can't see the rubber cap at all)

Doable, but like others have said, I doubt an auto batt will work well over that distance and with the wires in the way, and a manual batt will put the switch way down on the end, so here's my concept:
2bp4si.jpg

The pvc tube will have to have an inner diameter just big enough for the 10440 batt and a wire.
The plastic cap on top will have the + spring and will have to be removable to change the batt (I didnt illustrate it, but it would be possible, though not easy, to mount an led on that cap), the one on the bottom will have a - plate or spring and a notch for the + wire to pass by.
The reason for the extra connectors in the body/mouthpiece joint is to allow the switch to be changed out since (I'm assuming) she'll want a tiny switch as opposed to one 1/2 an inch tall sticking out, and the small switches tend to not last forever.

Again, definitely doable, but practical? probably not. But, if she wants it, she wants it, I know how that is. So there's the most practical solution I could come up with...

lurking about and saw this. so this is just an idea.
Looks to me like the biggest issue would be weight of the ecig at the end of the holder. I expect the vapor could be drawn up the tube if the whole cig could be installed at the end.
I've been looking at SmokeStik. 4081. I don't know much about other brands but their cartomizers are metal and are heavy enough that they could probably be threaded on the outside. modify the end of the holder to have female threads and thead in the carto. Or if the size of the ecig is too big, thread the inside of the carto and the outside of the holder.
