I used to vape in bathrooms, then I decided it was gross. I stopped stealth vaping, period. Whether I am in the local Walmart, near a staff member, or whether I am in the movie theater, I just vape. I try to stay away from other "eaters" in the movie theater, but the overwhelming smells of popcorn and skittles are FAR less invasive than my vape, if you ask me. My Walmart either doesn't care, or the staff give me a free pass because they still want to hire me (LOL, I use the self checkout lanes, it's faster) but so far, my giving up the "stealth" vape has reaped me 0 consequences.
Oh, at the gem show, some security person told me to not vape as the "fire marshal" had deemed it unsafe. It was a TENT. But in any case, I wasn't vaping it at the time, just carrying it. AZ just... really doesn't care about some stuff, and I think vaping may be part of it.
Vaping in the school bathroom as a teacher? IDK, I hope they have a one written warning before being fired policy. That's the only reason I would vape indoors at work, when I dual used. Really, no one cared, but if someone BEGAN to care, I knew I would get a warning before being fired.
I kind of look at my lack of stealth vaping as activism though, because if someone ever gets upset about it, I will cease, but also inform them as to WHY it's fine. I really don't like skulking around in bathrooms, it's not HS anymore.... LOL.
