I've cut back on the "sweet tea" considerably, its just as bad as pop with sugar/caffeine
both Snapple and Wylers (among others) make single serving packets for flavoring water, and theres MiO out as well, I KNOW water gets flat boring to drink, lol and dont forget about the slices of lemon or lime doing a dance with chunky bits of ice
;)

Hello Ladies,( and stalker men):p
I just had to chime in on this one. I just had a total vag. hysterectomy on 08/15/2011.About 12 hours after surgery I was talking to my nurse and she ALSO vaped. She said she had no problem with me vaping(in the hospital)And I too though vaping was a culprit in my "female"problems. But after the nurse gave me the go ahead in the hospital, I am sure that the vaping was not a problem:)
But...I have noticed that when I vape now I get MAD heartburn, depending on the liquid I vape. The thinner the liquid the more the heartburn...Weird huh:vapor:

Check this out...No wonder I didnt need a morphine drip after surgery!

Nicotine, Chili Peppers Offer Post-Surgery Pain Relief - ABC News

I love how the two experts contradict themselves in back-to-back paragraphs with no comment from the author:
"Nicotine is a poor solution for anything because it is so addictive," McClesky said. The mechanism by which nicotine may help manage pain after surgery isn't yet known, he added, "because there are nicotine receptors in both the central and peripheral nervous systems."

Habib said short-term analgesic use of nicotine is not addictive. He said future studies will address different doses of nicotine and the drug's effect in different groups of people, such as smokers and women.
Which is it, boys?

I have had only one symptom from switching to the e-cig, I don't know what it is from, the e-cig or from quitting smoking. I was just hoping maybe someone else had this issue and it cleared up after a time. The 2 menstrual cycles I have had since vaping have gotten painful. I am hoping someone out there can show me the light at the end of the tunnel, I don't think I can stand going through this every month. I have resolved to give it 6 months before I consider not vaping anymore. I will schedule a doctor visit, but summertime is my busy time, so I will schedule for the fall. I am not sure if a doctor can help me as most don't know anything about the e-cig.
So, for now, I will not blame the e-cig, I will give it time, and will go through the proper channels and get a doctor to check things out. Has anyone else had this type of issue?

I got dehydrated in the beginning and cramps were much worse the first month of vaping. I missed a day of work. Intense. The second month was better but still more cramps than usual. I increased my water by 3x and take a lot of soluble fiber to clean my blood. I suspect I'm getting more nic than I was with cigs. My logic is to clean my arteries with soluble fiber and grab and escort toxins out quickly with insoluble fiber 3 or 4 hours apart from nutrition. I've become a fiber nut. I can run a 5k again. It's amazing to me. I can't shut up about the benefits of vaping. I hope you're issue is better quickly.

It is better, Boodle. It is now back to normal. It must have been an adjustment period. I am so glad to be so much healthier. In my honest opinion, pv's are a godsend, and are so much better for the body than ciggies. I don't cough, I don't have outrageous phlegm, I don't stink, my car smells good, and I have no new cig burns in anything. I can't say I can run further, or have more energy, I never liked to exercise to begin with. I do feel better about myself, and that is a big plus!

I've had PMS for a week now, and no AF. I don't know if it's because I've quit analogs or because of a tremendous amount of stress. I just wish it would come on already. Ready to get it over with. My last one was normal, but I'd only been off analogs for a week or so and I don't think my body had detoxed too much then. I'm sure AF will show up when we leave for the beach this weekend...

I'm glad I found this.. A lot *clicks* now. I've been vaping for about 3 & 1/2 months now. My first period after vaping came with some serious pain. Then the following month I started getting cramps and very painful & swollen breasts but my period didn't come.. I was extremely nervous that I was pregnant but all the tests came back negative. I skipped an entire cycle. My period came 5 weeks later than it was supposed to and that entire time I had PMS symptoms. It had me very nervous but I am glad I found this and grateful for all the shared info.

So, not too far out now from 90 days vaping for me, (which I can't even believe I've achieved) - and this time around - AF barely symptoms barely even noticeable - mostly stupid water retention but other than this - is just completely awesome :D I DO take a vitamin b complex daily - along with plenty of Vitamin D...so interesting to note on vitamin B.
