I'm looking for something that will go from the wall usb adaptor (someone had a link here for one that was $1.95 in which I ordered a few) that is longer that I can plug the PT into. I want to quit using my pc usb port. Would this work? From the AC adaptor you bought from our company that plugs into the wall is it a longer cord that you need from that adaptor to your device? If that is all you need them I have those very reasonable, in fact I can do one for $1.95 and include it with your shipment of the adaptor which I will do on Monday.

You would need a male usb tip on one end and a female usb tip on the other end of the cord to work. Think about whether this is the solution you need and let me know. Thanks

I'm not sure if you're asking a question or answering it.

If you're going to add a USB extension cable, it has to be one that is made with fairly heavy-gauge wire (larger cable). Otherwise there will be too much voltage drop and you may not be happy with the PTs performance.

It is much easier to just use a regular extension cord and move the adapter closer to where you want to use the PT.

Of course, with any extension cord you should make sure it has a UL label. Some of the ones at the "dollar store" aren't UL approved.
