I am still new at this and I have a question for all you experienced vapers. I ordered a box mod and some inexpensive cartos to try out new juices to find what I liked. Even ordered some little mini carts. What I have is when I first start using them they are fine. I can taste the wicking at first, but that goes away. It is the draw I am asking about. After I use them, just a little bit I notice the draw gets really tight. I even purchased one of those syringe things that you can flush your cart with. You know the ones you just flush and back flush several times with hot water. I cleaned them out last night thinking that might help. It didn't help. I can see through the little tube in the center of the cart and I do blow on them every now and then to blow them out. I just really don't want to fill up a tank yet as I am switching around trying different juices. I will try a juice and it will be really good, after a little bit though it starts to feel thick and heavy. Then I go to another juice. Wish I could just keep these cartos where they have a easy draw. Oh, need to tell you this also. I can unscrew the cart from the mod and suck through it and it does draw easier. I don't understand why it draws better when brand new though. I know it has had juice in it, but has juice in it when I suck through it unscrewed from the mod. Well there it is.
Thanks

I used to use cartomisers to try out juices, but if you've tried as many as I have the costs do begin to add up!
I now use Ego Visions(Stardusts) as the juice can easily be switched, I haven't had any reduction in draw(which
is certainly not lacking!) whilst using them. The new rebuildable ones are even better, you might want to give them a go.

I have not had much luck with flushing or cleaning cartos. Overall I make sure the center is clear, sometimes using a thin wire to clean it out. I use Ressurectors from Crystal Clear Vaping and have had excellent luck with their performance.

Ive been looking at them also, but it seems they only come in black, can the black ones be used punched and in tanks? I think that the boge black ones are stainless with a sticker type material wrapped around and the tape stuff disintegrates with juice.

I just got in an order of boge 2.0 LR cartos from Health Cabin. I got in 4 boxes and on first look they look like typical boge boxes. I opened them up and they seem to be the ones with the 2 same size condoms, but tight not loose. I was very skeptical, so I filled one up and punched it and so far it is working like a charm. Polyfill seemed to be fluffier and was much more absorbent than the last boxes I got in. Popped in my tanks seems to be like the usual good Boge we were crazy about. This is only the first one so far, so I will keep everyone posted. I was hoping that since Health Cabin was in china, that I would get something that was newer than the stock here in US. Maybe, just maybe Boge has adressed the problems and we will start to get the quality that made them the most popular and loved cartos out there.

I use Boges with the label on for a month at a time and it doesn't even loosen the label. But it's frowned upon in the vaping world. If you use a different juice or type of carto than I, it might then loosen. I believe the labeled ones won't fit in most tanks.

Here's a source for SS Ressurectors: (and good tanks and juice)

Now there seems to be a 3rd type ( that ive found, there might be more?) These have 2 short condoms but they are tight. They are fluffier and wick quicker. The center of the carto where the wire wick is larger. The connection threads are different and the hole is bigger. First one I used seemed to work fine. The others so far have been gurgling and going dry. I have to fiddle around to keep them going. I do dry hits to draw up the juice and then I have to clean out the juice that floods either at the drip tip or thru the bottom. I have no idea what is going on. If you read the statement from Boge and they insist there have been no changes, that there is only ONE plant, but I found a post on an other forum that was supposedly from boge saying they had more than one plant. So who is right? Im new and had not had a lot of experience, but there are users out there that have been using Boges for years and swore by them. THere are others who have not had any problems and not seen any of the OTher boges with the different size condoms etc. Just confused and frustrated and on the edge of giving up on Boge. I have the new Kanger ce4 atty/tank they are awesome easy great , but I dont like the way they look, I have royal smokers clearomizers, work great, but again hate the way they look. I am on a waiting list for the Zen-U atty now, and even with having to rebuild and wire and wick etc you at least only do that once a month or so. I will post photos of all

Yea, some of my recent Boges seem fine to a point. However, some of them are packed so tight they will not even soak up the juice, and a few I couldn't even get a freaking syringe in! And with those, if you do get them filled, don't even think about topping them off without sticking a needle in them every time! I believe it is time for me to make the switch to Kanger.

I'm not gonna get any more Boge's until all the QC issues have been ironed out.

To the original poster, a progressively tighter draw could mean the poly fiber inside the carto is getting clogged by the micro particles in thicker juices. You may only get 2-3 days worth of vaping with certain juices, then need to discard. You can usually tell when you are getting close to the throw-away stage when the juice starts getting darker and thicker, as only the thinner parts of the juice actually make it to the atty part and the larger, thicker part of the juice remains in the reservoir tube.

Never been a fan of trying to clean and resurrect cartos. Clearomizers seem to last a long time, and there are new ones out that are rebuildable. Not sure I trust using them with all juices, as some will crack the clear plastic.

The CE2's seem to last a long time, too. More the size of a carto, and are clear to see juice levels easily. I believe the plastic used is safe to use with all juices, too. I use the very small size (0.8ml) to test new juice. Cheap enough to discard or to rinse and refill with a new juice.
