Hi all,
I've read through other threads already and couldnt find the answer I was looking for so here goes:
I just replaced the "starter" coil in my zap (which was at 2.4ohm) with 1.5 ohm coil. Basically, I used 4 wraps of 32g kanthal instead of 5/6 that were there before. I'm enjoying it a lot more with more vapor and slightly more throat hit on my provari and the question I have is:
Shouldn't I have less vapor at 1.5 than I did at 2.4 with the same gauge wire?
Not sure if I just didnt break in the the first coil properly or if it's because I'm running my device at 3.5v now instead of the 4.4 prior.
Side questions: after looking at the ohm to volt chart and usually using the rule of 2, how does a mechanical mod not burn juice or fry low ohm coils on a full battery? Wouldnt running a 1.0 on a fully charged 18650 mech be well in the red of those charts?
Thanks!
