Hey guys,

So, using the Reo Grand at 3.7 volts right now, with Cisco 2.0ohm 306 LR atomizer. With my coffee flavored juice, everything tastes and vapes great.

The issue comes down to things like English Toffee, Butterscotch and Caramel. They all seem to get burnt. Whether this is because of the heat or something I am not sure. When I puff these flavors on a standard atomizer 510, I get barely any vapor but I can taste the flavor at least. My question is how do I fix this?

I spoke with Smokey on the boards and he said he prefers the 510 LR atomizers and I have a few of those coming in, but again, it seems like these flavors are delicate and get ruined by the heat.

Any opinions?

Thanks!

It might be good to try a higher Ω atty...like a 2.2 or better. I use mostly 2.0Ω on my sweet juices, but have a 2.2Ω in front of me I'm going to try to see what the difference is. I have some flavors here that are pretty delicate and sometimes I think they get too hot with the 2.0Ω also. I will post my findings.

I would answer your second question, but I vape only 3.7ish most of the time. I do have a VV set up I'm vaping a 3.0Ω atty at 4.5ish volts....it really changed the flavor profile of my Alien Visions E-Juice Sweet Tart. So perhaps trying a higher voltage with the higher Ω atty might be a good idea. :)

Just got the 15 for $20 deal myself the other day. Wife got the new Reo today, screwed one of them on and it tasted burnt as heck. On top of that, the vapor felt like it burned the back of the throat.

Took off the Boge 2.0, installed the one Rob sent with the Reo Grand, and no more burnt tasting hot vapor. I thought these were the shiz-nit. Are we doing something wrong, or am I gonna need to sell the 30 we have?

If it tasted burnt like that it just needed juice. I use them a lot and never get that burnt taste, even with my thick 100% VG juice. They like to be very wet. Would suggest you put more juice in it and give it another try. I use them on the Woodvils, Grands, and my Mini's.

Ok Karen. I did try to do that, but we will try that again.

Soaked to the point that I was sucking juice through the drip tip. Juice was leaking out into the catch cup. Still had the burning taste and very warm throat hit (could be attributed to high mg juice....)

Tried the same carto on the eGo batt just to check...same result.

My comparison is based on my limited vaping experience.... eGo-T w/ LR atty & VMod.

Maybe the Boge carto's and my wife & I just don't get along????

Rob sells atomizers. The 15 for 20 deal are cartomizers, not atomizers. Did you fill them with 25 drops of juice and let them sit before you used them? If not, you just got burning polyfil. And once a carto is burned, it's done.

Well I just got some cartos, once again, burnt taste from the delicate stuff. Very frustrating for numerous reasons. Any other ideas? And in regards to flooding cartos and all that, believe me, the stuff is juiced beyond belief, still very bad taste. What's the deal with this juice?!

Well crap, sorry that didn't work. I have no other ideas except for trying SR (2.2-2.3ohm) attys.
