From reading a lot on atty preferences, the GENERAL consensus seems to be:
3.7v - Cisco LR
5.0v - Joye SR
6.0v - Ikenvape HV

why do you list the voltage? I do not understand that part. what is the difference between the 3.7, 5.0 and 6.0? are those specific models of REO's? I am going to be getting a mini woodvil. what volt model is that?

That is the battery power. If you are getting the AW IMR 14500's, it is a 3.7v battery. The heat of the vape depends on wattage, and wattage is a result of the voltage applied and the resistance of the atty (ohms). The lower the ohm rating, the higher the watts and the hotter the vape. If you are using 14500 batteries, you will probably want to also use attys in the 1.5-2.0 range. HV attys will be MUCH too cool.

Big fan of Cisco 306 LR 1.5 and 1.8s. I usually prefer the 1.5s but over time the resistance can drop to <1. They have been lasting me a long time and I dewick immediately and debridge at the first big coil cleaning so I can see it. They are hot and you have to be careful you don't over vape them and get boiling juice in your mouth. Best flavor of any atty.

I just got some COV bottom feeder hybrid 1.5. I didn't think they had enough flavor the first few days, but they are really good now and I like the slightly airier draw and even consistency. No more flooding. Going on 5 days on my first and vaping strong. I do find I run the batteries down much further that I did with the Cisco 306 1.5s, so they are more satisfying at a lower voltage. Perfect for the mini.

Yet another atty to try on the grand/mini. Attys do seem to be kind of hit or miss no matter who sells them. I've had top notch LR 306 Joye's and really crappy ones in the same shipment. Ciscos has high quaility control and seems to rarely send a crappy one so it's my vendor of choice. I also like no primer. I bought 5 less expensive Bauways and 3 died within hours and the other 2 were fabulous. I've never tried Ikenvape. I will soon.

Same here. I love the cisco 306's but I find myself using the boge LR 2.0 cartos more now at days. Anyways, how do you like the hybrids from COV. Read people have been having issues with these messing up the spring and frying things up on the REO. Would want to try the .357 from Cisco but, for 21 a pop. There's no way in hell I'm paying for something like that for one single atty.

I just now ordered my first MOD, its the Reo grand, I ordered AW18650P29 AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries for it. I ordered IKV LR 510 1.8Ω Atomizers on a recomendation from a friend on the ecf site. Hope its a good set up, I can't wait til Monday mail runs !

Great choice! Welcome new REOnaut! :)

I've read that those batteries are significantly longer than the AW IMR 18650's that Rob recommends. If they compress the spring mostly flat, it can't collapse in the event of a short circuit. Hopefully the PCB on the battery itself would engage in such an event.

Just for your consideration. I hope it works great for you.

Thanks mlinky! Been stalking REOnaut threads for a few days now, wanting to post here and ask some newby questions, but just reading through these threads and getting PM advice from a friend has been good enough so far. I recall a qoute on here somewhere, i think it was by you. About the fear of getting caught without a REO. Not sure if that's an exact qoute, but that is when I made up mind to order a REO. Others chimed in and agreed, thats when I thought, Jeez, this must be the the go to MOD when all others are sitting on the shelf, if there is a feeling of fear of being without it, that speaks volumes!

Great choice! Welcome new REOnaut! :)

Uh Oh! I have a friend that recommended them as he uses them since they came out on his Grand. I hope they work out too and are safe with respect to the spring tension. Thanks for the warning, I'll ask him about his experience with the batts/spring.
Thanks again Mudflap.

What are the differences in the cisco spec LR 306's and LR510's, other that the treads and the type of drip tip they use?
I've only tried the LR 306 1.5 and 2.0, upon visual inspection the most obvious difference is the number of times the coil is wound around the lower wick. The joye have about 4 winds with the cisco having at least twice as many and the coil is densely wound around the entire wick end to end. I believe the increased coil surface area contact with juice leads to increased flavor and vapor production. FWIW these are only a handful of attys I've compared so it may not be true of all.

The same for the Cisco 901 1.5 vs the IKV 901 1.8 (what a PITA to debridge de-wick the IKV, basically destroyed it... still works but the ceramic cup has holes broken out of the sides now) The Cisco coil is similar to the 306 with even more winds, the IKV coil was quite sparse once exposed, about 4 winds like the Joye.
