The swing arm is not sealed and juice can most definitely leak through to the inside. With that said, keeping a good eye on anything that may potentially leak should keep the likelihood down.

Edit: The following posts are correct, I was referring to the pictures I saw of the original unit as it was first introduced. Per Brandon, changes have been made to ensure the arm is now sealed. My apologies.

I have a question. I just broke the stock charger for the Darwin.

Is it safe to use another USB wall charger on this? I have 2 to choose from.

1). An HTC cell phone mini USB that says 5v-1A lps 50-60hz

2) generic USB wall travel charger plug that reads DC 5v-12v

Sorry for bothering you guys, but I really don't want to hurt my baby! Which of these, if either, are best?

Thanks!

I can't seem to find anywhere official specs or information on the darwin aside from basic information on the nhaler site. The evolv site barely has any information. On the earlier released revisions of the device, is the battery still 4000mah? Reason I'm asking is because I just purchased one from another member (that he purchased late January) and am hoping it is 4000 cuz i've seen pre-release reviews that said 1800mah or somewhere around there. Also, are there any issues with the earlier rev's that I should watch out for?

Not sure of the mah, I'm sure the info is somewhere buried (Drew?), but the battery does not like to get fully drained! I charge every night when I go to bed, but the battery, depending on vape style and atty used, usually lasts people between 1 and 2 days. I, personally, get about 1 1/2. No consistent issues to really mention, but issues can come up as with any mod. But, evolv has amazing CS and will take very good care of you if something happens :)

Ya, I kinda just jumped on the purchase since it was a good price. Pretty excited to not have to worry about bringing batteries around with me, worrying about them in a hot van. Can just keep this on my belt or pocket at all times. I saw it in person for the first time last weekend, its a lot smaller than I expected :) or I just have big hands
