question on the spire mod

So my issue is when i put the aerotank on i screw it till its snug..then the screen says short on it so i loosin it till it give me power..only thing is when i do tht its ablt to rock back an forth at tht point..question is, is it the mod or the tank thts causin this issue??..i really hope it aint the mod cuz i just picked it up..also the post on the mod isnt lose nore do the threads look jacked up on both items..if its the tank them ok i was gunna get the taifun gt soon anyhow..just worried itll break or sumthin..thanks for the help.

It sounds like it could be a center pin issue with the tank. Look at your tank and see if it would be possible to pull the connector down a bit. Also, you could try using a 510 to 510 adapter which would be an easy fix.

I have noticed that on some Aspire tanks, the threads on the base connector are too long. I know this because when I put a coil in the base, the connector is longer than the coil preventing it from making contact with the mod. I have taken a nail file and filed a few of the threads off for an easy fix. But, a 510 to 510 adapter works as well.
