I have a joye 510 atomizer that I've never used. I bought two when I bought my PV setup and ending up throwing the first out after a quickly aborted attempt. The burning taste freaked me out.

I'd like to try again tonight. I *think* that it needs to be prepped (maybe a dry burn?) before I may drip. I've looked at my notes and searched around, but cannot confirm this.

Please advice and if I do need a dry burn, please give or lead me to instructions.

Thank you in advance; I appreciate any help.

I don't know anything about those attys specifically, but if you had a really bad taste with the other one, it may have had primer in it. You might wanna give that a warm water rinse, then blow it out and give it a dry burn. After the rinse put it on your device, at not more than 3.7v if you have VV, and pulse the power to it for a few seconds on and a few seconds off till the coil glows and no more vapor comes off it, then like dark said, make sure it's primed with juice before using it again.

Yes, I'm getting a bit lost in the terminology-- primer and priming. Okay-- warm water, blow it out, and using about 3.5v, pulse for a few seconds until no vapor.

I will prime with 3 drops (using 100% VG) and add 2 more after about 3 inhales.

Yes?

This is the atty and the juice. What a great experience! I blew out the primer and followed the very detailed info Ocelot sent me. I did flood a couple times and almost burned dry, but I finally got it, and oh my, it was like an flavor IV! I want to do this on a regular basis.

I'm on my 5th week with no ciggs, and have been using and enjoying cartotanks. I will continue using them, but this method may stem the 3-day vaping binge I have been on since moving to a lower mic level and to a smoother 100% VG vape.

Now, I want to buy more. I don't know if I'm ready to play with the big boys quite yet, but would appreciate any suggestions on which attys are more advanced, yet reasonably manageable.

Thanks everyone and I look forward to hearing more.
