Question re: Smok X Cube II

I recently acquired a slightly used one. I'm using it in Wattage mode, set to Max, with a .5 ohm Atlantis tank.

It is shutting itself off on its own. It's only mildly annoying, but I'm wondering: since this thing has so many features and sub-menus (I've read the manual and watched YouTube videos), did I accidently select an auto shut off function?

Or is it just a defective chip? It functions fine otherwise.

I went through mine and can not find a auto shut off. Has it had the firmware up grade to 1.093. It will tell you this when you turn it on.

There is no auto shut off and if you were triggering a safety feature you should see a message on the screen sounds like a defective unit .

Elaborate on "shutting itself off on its own" please. Like powering off completely, or shutting down while vaping but staying powered?
