That's really up to you, there are a number of good batteries. AW and Redilast are among the best from those that test them. AW is available at lighthound.com and Redilast at redilast.com of course you'll pay more for these so it's up to you to figure out if it's worth it or not.

Ultrafire and Trustfire are probabaly the most popular because of the price point. For those check madvapes.com as well as many other places, they are easy to find.

Edit...check the battery you're looking at to see if it's flat top or button top. Some mods won't work with a flat top, some will, you'll just have to see on the specific mod. If you stick with button top and protected you'll be ok.

This is pretty much my one stop shop for batteries Fenix Flashlights, Cree LED, Lithium Batteries, Lithium Ion Batteries, Li-Ion Chargers, Leatherman Multitools, Spyderco Knives and more!. AWs or IMR high drains would be a good choice, but any xxxfires would work with lr attys since your using a 18650.

here you go:
AW 18650 Protected 2600 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery
Ultrafire 18650 Protected 3000mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery

make sure to pic up a charger if you don't have one that charges 18650s

darn as I was gathering links nomoreash swooped in

Im in the Northshore Suburbs. Glenview, Skokie, Northbrook area.

Oh cool my gf is from Glenview so I'm there all the time when we go to visit her family. Congrats on the REO btw. I figured from the first post you had in this thread there was about 50/50 chance to guess that you got a REO or a wood mod. Your going to love it.

Nice, maybe I'll see yah around there. I was just at yard house the other day :) Good call on the madvapes deal. I got aws but for 18650s as long as you change them out after 12 hours you wont notice the drop off much.

I would also say get AWs from Lighthound.com. If you want the best charger, get the Pila IBC Charger. They are a bit expensive, but are the only consumer grade charger that strictly follows the CC/CV spec for lithium-ion batteries and shuts of after charging with no trickle charge.

My Pila charger kicks ....
