So just wanting to make sure I'm cleaning my tanks properly. I've been running them in warm water then dumping it out. I then shake it as dry as I can and without putting any juice in take two or 3 good vapes to draw the moisture out of my wicks. Is this the proper way to do so? I never let my tanks go completely empty on always refilling them when its down to between .06 and 04ml so as not to burn out my wicks prematurely. Thanks in advance for any info.

I let my coils sit in vodka for awhile then rinse under water, then I let dry for several hours then dry burn a few short bursts to turn rest of hard gunk to ash, re rinse then dry for a few more hours. I do this weekly to my coils, while this is being done I use new ones til I have enough cleaned ones to cycle once again.

I think if you shake it dry and blow out whatever moisture you can and then fill. From my experience the water is not the same as juice and can cause some burning if you fire the coil up. After filling let sit and any moisture will mix with the juice, the first few vapes take it easy since it will be more water than juice. If you have patience (I most times don't) let air dry completely and then assemble and fill. For me this is what I find has worked well.

When I try dry burn with short bursts and rinse and check my coils they still always seem to have as much gunk on them as before the dry burns. Does yours go away? Does your vodka change color? I tried this in a small glass just enough to fit the coil in (from Kanger T3) and I do not notice it dissolving anything.
