Hello all, I am looking for some advice regarding tanks. A few weeks ago, I bought a few CE4 tanks, they leaked, etc, and I stopped using them because they were a mess and went back to cartos and direct dripping (still not good at this) Yesterday, I decided to give tanks another try and bought a ViVi Nova (large tank) It's not leaking, which is good, but I am starting to get a mouthful of juice every once in a while. I am a heavy vaper, but I have to or I will smoke. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this from happening or should I just give up on the tanks completely and forever? Thanks.

When I was using clearo's I had the same thing happen (vapes were dandy though, not from flooding), I believe it's condensation from the vapour. Since they're sealed there's nowhere for it to go but out the tip. Occasionally you could try flipping it upside down and giving it a quick shake (cover the hole with a bit of paper towel or tp). Also, if the tip size allows, gently pushing a cotton swab partially down to clean it out could help.

This is my second post, and, though I've read pretty much every rule on new members, I'm having a helluva time even getting a reply up, without being denied over and over again. I'm trying again, so please forgive me if I'm not "on topic"

I have definitely graduated to be a more experienced vaper, way past the dreadful KR808's, onto the KGO (yet really still don't know the difference between the KGO and EGO, though some say it's same). I loved the Vision Clearomizers (3.5 ml, love the long draw). But the lack of quality made them, for me, hit and miss. Some arrived DOA, or though I let them sit with juice, burned my throat, leaked, gurgled. But, if I got one that worked, did outlast a traditional polyfill carto, and used less juice.
But cost is becoming a crazy factor. I'm going through juice fast, and spending more and more on cartos, clearos, and juice.

I've looked at pretty much all the suppliers on the forums, and must say for my buck, there;s still no one that beats hoosier for juice - price point and quality. Someone on the forums recco'ed Brent @ Hoosier and grateful ever since. 50 ml DeKang $11.00, 30 ml customizable juice $10.79 (ship $4.00). NO, I DON'T WORK FOR THEM. Just another vaper trying to help save others $$! And hope they do same for me!

On that note, It's time for me to graduate now to the rebuildables. Any recco's on the Vision Nova Tank Clearomizer V3? This will be my first buy, from the carto, clearo, to the tanks. Will this save me some money?

With juice, my fav was always the congo craze from an e-cig supplier, but they were unbelievably overpriced, and terrible communication. But still having problems replicating, though Brent goes out of his way to mix what I ask. It's a combo of choc/banana/coco/pineapple, I think....then I throw in a little RY4.

I'm not quite at the point where I can mix my own. Since I'm in the skin care industry, it's almost stupid I don't start learning. I've got the VG wholesale already, 16 oz ($4.00). But as far as flavorings and PG, where would I get that?? What about the MG? hmmmm... just not that sophisticated yet... any suggestions?? Thanks!!

I've used both the Vivi Nova and Stardust rebuildables and as long as you clean them/ dry burn them every few days they last a long time. Repalceable heads (wick+ coil) are cheap and easy to replace.

Most vendors sell flavoring. As for PG go to pharmacy and special order it.

Another tip with the vivi nova, if you use the stock drip tip, there is a little tube inside it that you can push down into the rubber tube that fits against the top cap, this may help with the juice issue you have had. BTW, if you are not using the stock drip tip, I also found I could slide that tube out of the stock tip and into the base of my ss king kong ming drip tip I use

You must have 5 posts in the new members forum before you can post in other forums. Post count is under your avatar.

Suggest you read all the Stickies in the DIY forum first and then the regular stuff.

regarding the vivi nova.. I use a first gen vivi nova tank.. I have 3 of these I use consistantly... I have never had any amount of juice enter into the mouthpiece...this will usually happen when the powerhead is not seated tightly to the centerpost...therefore check your seal at the bottom of the powerhead..make sure its not missing or torn....make sure your rubber cap at the top of the powerhead is in place and that the little metal washer is in place inside of the rubber cap...note...fyi... factory nova wick arent the greatest...i mod my powerhead with a wick and coil from a ce2 clearomizer.. Happy vaping

First, a shout-out to the senior/vet members for coming to the newbie section and hangin' a bit with us!

Thanks for the input...

Vapoor eyes er your avatar gave me a LOL for a full minute..

A "dry burn", means I'm doing a vape w/o liquid? Someone else suggested a dry burn or filling with vodka first, but don't know if I can deal with a vodka flavored juice, if I don't burn it out....

I found 2 "stickies", I'm a bit new to the latest forums.

I use J-Tanks (ElectronicStix.Com : 3ML J-TANK - JTANK3ML) with 510 Boge Cartomizers (FIVE (5) stainless steel Joye 510 compatible e-Cigarette blank low resistance cartomizers (Manufactured by Boge)) and punch the cartos with the Siam Mods Carto Punch V2 (Stainless Steel Carto Punch v2) connected to my eGo Twists batteries.
I'll give it a try!

When I mean leak, gurgle, and generally arrive in a hit-and-miss will it be D.O.A. clearomizer, I'm speaking of the vision clearomizers 3.5 to be sure, I'm clear on what I'm talking about, I linked it.

Is this the rebuildable?

In the meantime, I'll check the links and suggestions out.

Nevermind..answered my own question. Did my first real "dry burn". Filled with one stardust with vodka, the other water...both work....BTW, enjoying a fresh clearomizer for the first time ever. Live and Learn along the ecig trail.....

LOLLL I was just about to clarify my answer. Way to go and congrats. With darker and/ or heavy VG juices you'll find they "clog" up quicker.
