Question- who DOESN'T enjoy Nicoticket?

BTW, I really like Nicoticket's Vanilla Custard. I ordered a small bottle of the Creme Brulee, but didn't care for it. One day I will try Grant's Vanilla Custard...if that site ever comes back up and he starts taking orders again......

Hey gjustin79....this pic was taken on 10/11/13..the CLS was born on 9/16/13....its 18mg nic so come a bit darker, but its almost 4 weeks in that pic....the CB in there is only 3 days as it was born on 10/8/13 and 12mg nic...I don't/didn't get a peppery taste on them (sadly the CB didn't last longer than 3 weeks, as I finished it off I sometime last week.)

On my latest order, born on 10/24/13, CLS, CB & AS @ 12mg which I received on 10/28/13 and prob started vaping around the 1st, I did get a peppery taste from the CLS and CB, can't tell from the AS cause strawberry seems to scorch my tongue haha. Now on that order, it was the first time Clark ever told me to let it steep a bit cause it was fresh. Its now the 6th and I get a peppery taste maybe every once in awhile from the CLS in my PT2, or maybe I'm used to it now? haha
The CB in evod, I'm not getting any peppery taste that I notice
Note: I didn't/don't boil or use devices to steep, I just cap off 24 hours and then shake everyday...

Made me think of your issue with peppery taste

I was vapping an ahlusion liquid and I got a peppery taste I never had before
I looked and seen the voltage was higher then I usually have for the carto tank I was using

I lowered the voltage and it was gone

so maybe try lower voltage

the coconut dream

have the creams in carto tank's put it on forgot to lower voltage and thought it was having bad effects from steeping
haven't vaped it in a week

checked voltage was at 4.1 usually at 3.6 for that carto tank

lowered voltage that smooth vape was back

Definitely a lot darker than mine, mine is orange. I'm awaiting my sampler from Fuzion and will be using those if I like them. I'm constantly monitoring my NT stash and shaking/squeezing air out every day

Will come back to them in a few weeks to see the color/taste

I’m not sure how you get from “delicious smell” to “spicy chemical taste,” as a juice that is that bad a vape should be detectable with a sniff. Nonetheless, my experience with NT is 180 out from yours. I took them out of the packaging, cap off, shook them, put them into a clearo, let it sit to soak in a bit, then vaped the wonderful flavor. And, the flavor continues to improve with time. I’d understand if you didn’t like the sweetish, egginess, etc., that custard is, as everything isn’t for everyone, but your experience is way outside the norm, something else is wrong if you’ve tried multiple NT juices and none are “right.” Tell me that CLS or CB is too eggy, too sweet, too much vanilla, etc, and I’ll shrug it off. Tell me that all the NT juices aren’t right, and I default to operator error. Nothing personal, it is just an assessment of the evidence.

Tell me, I saw your postings about rebuilding coils, were these ones you built or ones provided by Kanger? I’ll tell you the coils I got most recently from Kanger led me to try building my own, and I’m much happier with them. The Kanger coils seemed to be very airy, like a coldish spicy stream of air on my tongue, though the CB flavor still came through adequately around it. Other questions would be what your ohms and watts are?

I won’t rule out a vendor error, NT has, like, 2 people filling thousands of orders over the last few months, getting one bottle wrong wouldn’t be unexpected, and I know they’ll make it right. But multiple bottles on 2 separate orders is too much lightning in one spot. Were I you, if you find no other cause, send the bottles back, as I know they’d be replaced if defective, and Kent will own up to that and make it right.

Tittle of the thread is interesting...lol. This has all been addressed in the supplier forum by the way. Clark sent him another batch just in case and he still got pepper. Most likely taste buds are still trying to recover from the cigs, justin quit recently.

Hope they hit for you eventually, if not, sell em!

You didnt tell us: mg, equipment used, v or watt used that would be illuminating for your problem. i got CLS at 6mg and it was tiny bit spicy on day 1. 2.4 clearo and 3.5v After a week, less, after two weeks way less and rounded out taste. And i never steep with caps off. unless you're in a clean room (like a lab), you will have contaminants fall in there.

i liked betelgeiuse and gravity also, grandmas cinn was also delicious. creme brulee is like CLS with some cinn and caramelized sugar taste.

try plume room, if you dislike then i know we have fundamental taste differences

Oreo has come and gone. It was on the site when I made my first order and has since disappeared.

CLS and Creme Brulet are my favorites...either in an EVOD or the iclear 16's that came with my MVP's...
To change up my taste buds, I switch to Betelgeuse.
But, CLS is my all time favorite...I quickly changed my order from small bottles to large bottles.

The peppery taste is usually because of the nicotine level. I honestly enjoy a bit of the peppery taste from time to time, it adds complexity. That said I haven't really noticed a peppery taste since I started ordering at 12mg. I think my next order I will need to grab some 18mg for those days where I am struggling. I actually meant to order the CB I bought at 18mg but I got distracted and by the time I thought about it, it had already shipped.

Yeah, I love the sweet/bakery type liquids but after a few days or even one day of hard vaping I use Moo Juice to switch it up. The light fruity/cream helps to reset my palette for more dessert/bakery vaping, and is good in its own right. lol

I have a 50 ml bottle sitting in the cupboard. It was dark black when it arrived, tasted like powdered chocolate cocoa and completely gunked up my coil in half a day. I may pull it back out in a month or two and see if it has started to behave and play nice......
