Questions about brands/types

So I'm new to this, and interested in getting my first e-cig. To help make my decision I did a lot of research here and read a ton of threads, but I think I've given myself an information overload. I'm a bit overwhelmed by choices now and hoping you guys can help me narrow it down.

I smoke around 10 cigarettes a day, Camel No. 9 Menthol 100's (which I believe is a relatively light cigarette as far as nicotine mg goes). I know I want a relatively light cartridge, because I want to be able to smoke an e-cig about 10 times a day without using more nicotine than I do now. I've been looking mostly at 510s and I definitely want something that does NOT look like a real cigarette, stainless steel or black with a non-orange LED. Manual is definitely for me, I like lots of smoke but I don't think throat hit needs to be too high.

Anyway, as I said, I've been looking mostly at the 510s but I'm just a bit overwhelmed. Does anyone have any recommendations for me, or even advice on what would NOT be a good match for me? Thanks so much!

If I were you I'd go to cignot.com soon. Their prices are so good they run out of stock quickly. Here:

... well, they got some PCC's in since I last checked! Perhaps not as big a rush. [PCC - personal charging case where you can charge batteries on the go - iow, with one of those you can be out all day without having to be near a wall plug].

You might want to go for that kit instead. But pick up some juice while you're there.

No juice will taste like any cigarette brand but menthol does still taste like menthol.

I see there (you could get your juice elsewhere) they only have Camel in VG and in 26mg and zero mg nicotine so you might want to blend those with menthol too.

Those are 20ml bottles - you could just try 5ml bottles (average is 20ml/week of vaping)

Add this:

Here is what i recommend:

10 x Atomisers
100ml to 260ml of E-Liquid (recommended flavor: Marlboro)
10-20 blank carts
2 -4 Manual Batts (either M401 or M402 size)

You should be ok for a while. When you are at a place with loud noises, change to your manual batts. The USB Passthrough is a great piece so don't forget this in your order no matter what. Atomisers are only $6 a piece when ordering 10pcs. The liquid amount you wish to order is your choice. 260ml is currently going for only $66 so you can decide if you wanna stock up.

Thanks for the help! I decided to go with the cignot one. The only thing is, I'd like to get something closer to 16mg of nicotine for my liquid. Can anyone recommend a good place that has liquid in that range, preferably the menthol and turkish flavors, that are actually in stock?

Too bad almost all the Joye juice vendors are down on supplies. You might find some stuff on Janty, dietsmokes, freshsmoking, - their 'high' is 16mg. freshsmoking's 'Newport' is really good tasting menthol. I was a Salem ultralight smoker and my second choice was Camel menthol (same company so similar tastes) and Newport fit my tastes well at first. Later I wanted less menthol. And their straight menthol is a good (non-minty) menthol. I love their Camel and Virginia in tobacco flavors. Marlboro runs sweeter. 555 at freshsmoking is my favorite 555. Lucky Strike and Paliament have a cinnamon note that is different than anything else out there and their RY4 and Cappuccino is tops, imo. RY3 is good as well - RY's are smokey caramel creme. The only flavor I don't like at freshsmoking is the straight 'Tobacco'? ;-) They are in the transition from paypal to credit and should be back in a day or maybe Monday - you can still order there. Janty and dietsmokes are out of a lot of juice but still have some, so check there as well.
