OK, my Mom is 84 and wants her independence, but her health is failing rapidly, IMO. She lives alone and won't move in with my family and visiting her daily is difficult. Anywho, I was curious if anyone has, or has had, any experience with any of these medical alert programs. Ratings are all over the place and money is not an issue.
Any firsthand knowledge would be most welcome and appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

I can recommend against a related product, the Telemergency. Do NOT buy any model of Telemergency. Although it's well made and functions as advertized, there is ZERO customer support. My mother ruined the pendant remote by getting it wet, it is not water resistant. I emailed the company THREE times about buying a replacement pendant, and got no response. Nada. It's too bad, I liked the idea of not having a monthly service fee. Life Alert might be the way to go, at least with them you have support. ... but I have no firsthand experience with them.
