HI,
Still new at this I think. Been analogue free for about 65 days now. I recently upgraded to a T-Rex and I was wondering if it is possible to get dript tips for it and if so, any suggestions for where to get them? Also, I got this because people were raving about the vapor and throat hit with it, but my experience has not been as such. It seems to be hit-or-miss as far as vapor production goes and almost zero throat hit. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a break in period for them? I am very impressed with the battery life, as it will go me nearly 12 hours of heavy vaping without a charge, but I wish it would hit better.

Also, what are "Low resistance" attys? How do they differ from regular ones? Can I use one with my T-Rex? Do they put out more vapor?
Thanks!

The T-Rex is basically an eGo so it's 510 compatible. Just order a 510 drip tip and you should be set. They're only about $1 from some suppliers. The LR atty will heat up quicker, burn a bit hotter, but drain your battery just a little bit quicker than a standard atty. I'm using an eGo and get great TH, even from standard atty's. You may just be using juice that doesn't provide good TH. PG based liquids tend to provide more TH than VG based. Some flavors give more TH than others too. I'd try an LR atty and see if that helps, if not try switching juices. I get consistent vapor production. Are you over filling or letting it run a bit dry? That's the only times I have a problem unless my atty is on its last legs. They do tend to decrease in vapor production after a while so you might try cleaning it. There's videos and posts about different methods of cleaning.

Thanks a bunch for the info. I think my liquids are more VG than PG so that might explain some of the throat hit; however, I have a 510 pass-through and a regular 510 manual e-cig as well and they seem to hit better than the T-Rex so far. For example, I have some 24 mg cherry liquid that I don't like so much because it is so harsh that it makes me choke in my 510, but in the T-Rex, its almost like vaping 0 mg straight VG. I will try cleaning the atty and see what happens.
Thanks

Have you tried your 510 atties on the T-Rex. If they don't work as well there may be a problem with the battery. The pass-through may give a better hit since it's running at a slightly higher voltage. Mine did. The 510 manual should be the same though. Make sure the threads on the T-Rex are clean and providing a good contact. Also, try experimenting with the cone. It may be changing the draw, though I'd expect it to improve the hit, not make it worse.
