Questions about Phoenix use and where to buy wicking material

Ok so was playing around a bit more and got the wick going up almost touching the drip tip bottom and OMFG what a huge difference. It's actually getting all the juice on the wick like this, where before a lot was getting trapped on the sides. I'm using a phoenix clone so not sure if the original phoenix has the same issue with juice getting trapped on the sides. Check out this thread for a good tutorial. The way I did mine is similar but I didn't use the drill bit, I just made my coil/wick assembly and fit it in.

I can't believe some of the veterans on this forum hasn't helped you!What you need to do is scrap most of what info you have received and get you some 400 or preferably 500 ss mesh,Kanthal A1 32awg,instead of nichrome resistance wire,and then you will be in love with that phoenix!You can buy the kanthal a1 and ss mesh off ebay cheap!Another thing to remember is kanthal doesn't have as much of as a metallic taste as nichrome but they both do when you make a new coil.The ss mesh will taste good from the start but after 4 or 5 hours hard vaping the ss mesh will produce more and the longer it breaks in the better!It takes a piece of ss mesh a little longer than 1/2 inch,wrap the kanthal around it 5 times and after you oxidize your ss mesh it will stand vertical then screw the negative side in first and what I do is wrap the wire around the positive screw and you got it. You can go to vapor......com and buy ss mesh already rolled all you gotta do is cut it with some scissors and get you some kanthal or you can use nichrome the kanthal is just better.Do this and I promise it will be the best vape you ever had!You will probably even thank me?Good luck!

Wow thank you very much. I had no idea I could use the mesh in anything besides the tank rebuildables (which I'm looking into but they're expensive.)

Is there something I should know or look uo about building a coil with mesh? You mentioned oxidizing it but I hadn't even heard of it having to do with rebuildables til the other day

Hi everyone

I think this is the XL one ...there's a bit more room beetween the posts .... I tryed it with my small one but it's very hard to do " at least for me anyway" but I will continue till I Vape it with SS !!

And would not be more proun to leaking with SS mesh
