I received my DSE103 battery from Heaven Gifts yesterday. I can confirm it does fit the RN4081 atomizer and it is a little bit longer than the RN4081 battery. I haven't used it long enough to tell if it actually lasts longer between charges.

My first atomizer died a few days ago, and it was only about a week old. So I must have been doing something wrong. Any tips, and any special ones for the RN4081, to make the atomizers last as long as possible?

I also got a atomizer from AZ Smoke Free and it had a horrible taste, couldn't even use it. Was about to send it back but decided to give it a bath in alcohol to see if that would help. It improved it quite a bit, so I gave it a second bath in alcohol and now the problem seems to be resolved. Any ideas what would cause this?

Thanks.

Will DSE901 passthrough work for RN4081? trueman-ecig charges about $16 for shipping and handling on two while heaven-gifts does not have the passthrough for RN4081 but s&h was $3. They do have other model passthroughs so I wanted to know if these would work. Thanks.

The Safer Way To Smoke has a passthrough for the RN4081. I don't own it and know nothing about it. I just saw it on their website. I think it was less than $20 and I believe they do flat rate USPS for about $5 if I remember correctly.

My atty was 6 months old when I knocked it off the table, and it went cold. Now I have to start all over with another one. I'm amazed when I read posts where people go through 3 attys a week, and blame it on the e-cig.

I rotated 2 attys for heavy/constant vaping and they lasted a month. All of a sudden, I went through 6 or 7 attys in a week. Discovered that I had a bad battery.

Unlike all the other batteries that I rotate, the entire body of this battery got warm. Took it out of rotation and now, we'll see.

So yes, sometimes it is the e-cig.

Oh yes. Sometimes it's the e-cig. I won't dispute that, but I see dozens of posts that attys only last a day or two. We usually find that folks are vaping them dry. It's not always the fault of the user either. Suppliers are claiming 1 cart = one pack of stinkie sticks. If the newbie doesn't know, he/she will vape the cart until the atty blows out.

I'm a new vaper, and I've went through two RN4081 atomizers in the last week or so. Very discouraged with e-cigs right now...what am I doing wrong? I seriously need some help, I don't want to end up back on the analogs, they are killing me, but my second atomizer died tonight. I can't keep this up...what am I doing wrong?

Glad that i've found this post. I've spent the better part of an hour trying to get more info on this model.

Got a couple of questions if i may:

1.) I see alot of people mentioning the 4081 and DSE108 in the same breath - are they the same?

I can't actually find any mention of DSE108s on the usual china suppliers sites like Heaven Gifts or HealthCabin's (only RN4081) despite US/UK companies selling them.

2.) Does anyone know how these compare to the DSE084 (84mm supermini)? The construction of the atty and battery look almost identical from the pictures (bar the much bigger cart size of course).

I'm a 901/510 users myself, but I still think that the DSE084 (84mm) was that best ecig i've used to date. It seemed to have the best of both worlds; the comparable throathit of a 510 but the flavour of a 901 - it was just a shame it fell down on the ridiculously small cart size. I hoping the 108/4081 would be its successor - if i could only make sense of the damn model numbers! :D

Cheers

Hi - Any ideas why, after only two days of moderate vaping, my brand new RN4081 won't work? Both batteries flash 10 times. No vapor. The manual says to "give it a rest". But it sat unused all day today and STILL neither battery works.

I would appreciate any thoughts on this. I can't post this as a new thread (newbie), so I hope someone sees my question here.

Thanks!
