Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, Rob --but wanted to let you know that I got my first order from you yesterday. A GP eCo dual kit and miscellaneous accessories --- WOW! Are the cartomizers that came with the GP eCo kit the same ones that you sell separately from the kit? ("Soft Tip GP510 Cartomizers for 510 and eGo") is the atomizer in the cartomizers regular or low resistance? All I know is I love 'em and want to get some more! Refillable via standard condom or syringe methods, right? So can't wait to try the LR atomizers that came with the kit. I'm just not into dripping and so far using one of these carto's and the eCo has enabled me to not smoke an analog at all today!!! I haven't been able to give up that morning analog since i started vaping a few weeks ago....
THANK YOU for running a sale that allowed me to try an eGo-style PV!!!
and sorry for the dumb noob questions :)

That is really great news, and congrats....keep it going!

Yes, the atoms that are in the kit are GP510 LR 2.0ohm.

The cartomizers are the GP510 soft tip.
I would say the easiest way to refill is to pull off the soft tip (with finger, or using the small hole to pry with tool)
Then hold at a 45 degree angle and slowly drop on the inside of the shell.
Drip 3 drops at a time, and watch it absorb. Repeat this until it wont absorb any more (about 7-15 drops)
You can use the other methods, and if you ever lose the soft tip, you can use a reg 510/901 drip tip.

Just be cautious as to not get any liquid down the center tube when filling.

Hey Rob, thanks again for the fantastic prices and fast shipping!

I received my order today of GP808D-1 cartomizers and 510 to 808 battery connector. I was going to try out these cartos on my 650mah ego battery. The connector fits but if I screw the carto down all the way and hit the button to start vaping, the light on the button just blinks and the carto doesn't fire. The only way it works is if I unscrew either the battery or carto 1/4 to 1/2 way off. Does anyone know why this would not fire when screwed together? All other atomizers work perfectly fine on this battery.

On a side note I have only every tried CE2 clearomizers and was quite disappointed. These 808s are amazing!! I have strictly been a dripper almost since the beginning. What else have I been missing?!?!

Adapters are normally eazy, but can be a fitch sometimes.
You can try to screw the adatper to the carto first, and then the batt, or
if troubles, try screw the adapter on the batt and the carto onto it.

CE2's need to be dry burned once and then used and then dry burned after ever few fills (with a rinse to clean)

Hope that helps:)

I am a huge fan of the eGo Tank atty and the new Type B is great. Holds more juice, 2mls, and they have improved the wick holder/cart piercer. Also, it is a little more difficult to pull the wick plate out. Looks like Joye Tech has glued the plate to the mesh screen. Of course this only effects the folks who like to clean the coils!

I have a question about the eGo LR atomizers (the cylinder ones made for the 2ml cartridges). I ordered two atomizers and received them this week. One was SR and one LR. The SR works great with a cartridge and immediately became my "grab and go" setup. The 2ml cartridge plus the eGo's battery life means I don't have to bring ANYTHING other than the PV itself with me to work every day, which is great. However, when I use the LR atomizer with a cartridge, it leaks pretty consistently (juice leaks out around where it connects to the battery) until I've used maybe a third to half of the liquid. I'm guessing this is why you have the "No Warranty, best used w/ Drip Tip" disclaimer on the page. My guess is that the heat from the LR atomizer thins out the liquid enough to cause the leaking when used with such a big cartridge. Is this correct? It's not a big issue for me because I drip when I'm at home, so I can just use the SR when I'm out and about and the LR at home, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't get a faulty atomizer. Anyway, thanks for the fast shipping and good prices. I'll definitely keep you guys in mind for future purchases.

@dethjon, Did your LR atty start leaking from the very first use? The only thing I can think of that would cause juice to leak out the bottom is 1) the cart is not completely seated in the atty, or 2) the top cap on the cart is not completely snapped on. Both of these have happen to me at least once. eGo Tank system is very well made and will last you a long time if you invest some time in regular maintenance. This is a great video on cleaning your tank atty.

The first few times I used it, I was just dripping, so obviously it didn't leak then, but it's leaked every time I've used a cartridge with it. And I've tried several different cartridges, just to make sure. I might try the tank system out sometime, as I am somewhat curious about it, but for now I'm loving the SR atty with a 2ml cartridge and I'm having no problems with it, so I don't really see the advantage to a tank system at the moment. Thanks for the reply, though!

Sorry, I thought you had the Tank atty and cart. You must be using the eGo Mega atty and cart. I have heard that there were some leaking issues with the first manufacturing. I have heard that they are either coming out with a new and improved model or one is getting ready to come out.

deth,

The heating too much and making it leak, may be what is causing it.
But to use a cart on an LR and having it work, is good news.
Normally it would go burnt fast and taste horrible, since the liquid cant wick fast enough.

The leaking could also be from it being new, it might plug up slowly over time
and you might notice a difference in a week or two, depending on use.
