There are few problems in life that a good hammer won't fix :) Turns out that I've got a craftsman 1/4" socket driver that is the same diameter as the drip tips (@10mm) and smacking that down the end of the carto with a hammer expands the end enough to fit the new tips while the old tips still fit just fine. Doesn't even mess up the powder coating on the carto :)

Rob, I have a question on the solid gold 510 atty.

On the website, it states that:

No Center Contact Hole!

Will work with eGo, eCo or 510 battery or other battery with adapter!
*MANUAL BATTERY ONLY!
*This will not work with an automatic battery
*Also is not compatible with bottom feeder mods.

2.3 ohm - *Best for eGo/eCo or other 3.7 volt battery or mod
Or can be used for HV vaping at 4.5 or even 5 volts!!!

How can that be?? I was told high volt, high Ω, low volt, low Ω. I use mostly a 5v mod. Occasionally a 3.7v...are you saying I can use it on both. I am getting some of those new "smart carts" shipped to me in a couple days and I really want to try them out with the least leaking available and everyone seems to speak highly of these. Had your solid golds in my cart and decided I better ask you first.

Congrats on the new baby.

shouldn"t have to do that, Ty....if you are in business...you need to check your stuff. Sorry, it seems harsh but I have been a GP supporter for awhile and it is a shame that someone cna't answer a simple question that takes 2 minutes of time at most. If you are gonna run a business, customer service is necessary otherwise, you lose the customer. I know he had a baby but it only a couple minutes to check your forum. I am done. Not the first time this has happened.

I can't say I've ever tried this brand but normally I would stick with the higher ohm for 5v like you mentioned, though I've had some lower ohm atty's that for some reason worked fine on a 5v mod and others that didn't. Not much help to you but those are my thoughts.

If I needed an answer I would send Rob an email or even open a ticket on the site.I asked him a question yesterday on the ticket system and had an answer very quickly. He takes very good care of his customers when he knows there is a problem. He may be to busy to check here but always checks his tickets and emails. We usually answer eachothers questions here.We just try to help eachother. If its important and you NEED info please try the ticket system on the site.Im telling you it works much quicker.

ell that gives him from open to 5 to answer. My time is precious as well. When you run a business, customer service comes first....if that fails, the business fails. Sorry Rob, I have supported you for the past year. but I don't take unansered questions well. I did order them but this is my last order. I feel ignored and I actually, am quite upset. I know you had a new baby, my son just had a new bsby and he is running his business just fine...it only takes a couple minutes to answer my question in the forum. If you don't have time for that, then I don't have for the 2 minutes to order. I see you went to stamps. com...bad move...takes an extra day or two to get to it's destination.

Lower ohm is best paired with lower voltage and
higher ohm for higher voltage, but it is all in the user if they want a heavy throat hit or not.

The Solid Golds are not low ohm, so they can handle up to 5 volts, for heavy hit.
But using them on an eGo/eCo can still push out good vapor and flavor, just not a heavy throat hit.

I cant mention if they will work with smart carts, but I am sure they will better than LR atomizers.
I did try a smart cart long time ago and didnt like it, not sure if they are still the same today or not.

Thanks

Hi Rob,

Just received my new 650mah Eco kit wednesday. I noticed that when i plug it in to charge the light on the charger only stays red for a few seconds when i first screw the battery in. Is that normal? The manual says to leave the battery on the charger even if the light stays green. Never seen this before on any of my batteries. The light on the charger always stays red while charging and turns green when done charging. Tried this on my old Eco charger as well as the one that came with the kit. Any suggestions, Thanks, Leo
