I am finding sooooo many people on the forums that rant about the 510's being the best atty. My experience with them was not that great. I like the KR8's, in my opinion thusfar I get better TH and flavor. Since there are so many peeps out there that say the 510 is the cat's meow. I am beginning to think the atty I got must have been poor quality. So I was wondering where would be a good place to get a good 510 atty. Can you also specify what voltage you are vaping too.

Some people are saying that the packing oil they are shipped with tastes terrible unless blown out or otherwise cleaned.
Just wondered if you'd tried that, then primed w/a couple of drops, sorry but never tried a KR8 to compare
And so someone could help you more, what type batt are you using ? 3.7v ?
Good Luck, hope you find that sweet spot we all look for in our vaping journey :)

The 510 atties are ok and I like them better than the kr8's however, right now I am sold on the low resistance cartomizers sold by madvapes. I have found all atties to be hit and miss. I really don't think the quality control is that great. Even in the same batch you will get good ones and bad ones. You might get one that lasts three months and in the same pack get one that only last a couple days. Same think for hits some will be too airy and others just right. It's really hit and miss. However, all of the 510 low resistance cartomizers I have gotten from MadVapes have worked great and seemed to last a long time.

I use 510 attys.

Yes, there are duds. Sometimes get one that messes up the flavors. Sometimes get one that never produces much vapor or TH. It happens.

I've tried cartos and they are too airy for me. Might try a different type next time to see if it was just that manufacturer.

My go-to vape is The Precious at 3.7v with a Joye 510 atty. Occationally pop it up to 6v with a HV atty with a good tobacco flavor.

Never liked the draw required to make a 510 auto work and have never tried anything not a 510.

So, while I cannot do a side-by-side, I do know the 510 atty gives me everything I need in TH and vapor. I used to smoke non-filtered American Spirit and need the TH.

I've only used 510 attys but they are not all the same. The first one I used was great which I'm thankful for since it was my first experience. The second, while it worked it wasn't up to the standards that first atty had set. Tried a third and that one was fine. A few days later when I cleaned all three in the alcohol I planning to be sure I knew exactly which one was the one that didn't work as good but of coarse got them mixed up and lost track of which was which. After a cleaning I couldn't tell the difference between any of them as they all worked great. Almost 7 weeks later they are all working equally as well and I havent the slightest idea which one didn't measure up the first time I tried it. I'm vaping with the 510 mega batts and also on my 510 direct PT 5 Volt 2 amp.

Abt two weeks later I ordered a few spares from another vender along with some new juice flavors to try. Decided to use 1 of the new attys with the new flavor and it barely worked at all. Before I contacted the vendor to voice my displeasure decided to try another of the new ones and that one barely worked either! Not a happy camper at this point I HAD to try the third new one and it worked great. Remembering my experience with the 2nd atty I ever tried I threw the two bad attys in an alcohol bath and the next day tried them both out again. One worked great. The other one still just didn't measure up to all the others even though it did now work. All three are in my rotation and still working but I always know when I'm using the one that just doesn't measure up to all the others.
