Questions on RDA's Ordered a vortex.

This is my first RDA. Any tips on how I should set it up? It's dual coil.

Wondering really how much fluid you put inside this since it's not a tank. You aren't supposed to fill it up I assume? Just enough to wet the wicks and coils?

If it were you, how many wraps of 28 would you do on coils. I don't really understand the math too much, but I assume if I build 2 1 ohm coils I got 2 ohms, correct?

You have it in reverse. 2 1 ohm coils would be .5 ohms. However, this dripper doesn't have to be dual coil. You can do a single as well.

What is your target ohms and what are you planning on using for wicking material?

I figured I probably had that backwards

I usually use ecowool 2mm or silica 2mm and .28 kanthal. Usually I vape around 1.2 - 1.5 ohms on my RBA's
Protanks I usually use prebuilt coils around 2ohms.

Since you're already used to building do a normal single coil first. I believe the vortex comes with two posts and one hole. In that case duals are possible but you will need to drill a second hole in a position where it can line up with the second coil.

To "fill up" a dripper start with about 10 drops through the top. Take 2-3 primer hits to get the wicks soaking it up and run it dry. Then add 12-13 drops. Basically I do this with every dripper I own until my first hit has a gurgle to it or a tiny bit of liquid comes out of my airhole.

Why do you have to drill another hole?

The pic from the ad shows two coils on it already.

I may be wrong about the vortex airholes. Either way you need an airhole near each coil to move the air around the coil. If you only have one then your second coil would basically be useless.
