I know all the atties come primed. When we clean them out, is it okay just to put them up clean until needed again, and prime it when I use it again?

Longer question here about juice... I liked the idea of VG better even before I started, but my first two bottles of juice were PG just because that's all the places I needed to order from carried. Once I got them, the PG seemed harsh and made me choke about half the time, but I liked the flavors okay. I ordered and have now received some VG and mostly VG juices from three different places, and I'm not liking the flavor. Unless there's some bizarre coincidence going on, it seems to leave a horrible aftertaste every time I use it. And while it does taste sweeter as many have mentioned, it's more like an artificial sweetener to me. I just realized today that this is why I've been having trouble vaping for the past couple of days. So, is this just me, or do others have issues with vaping mostly VG? Or could it just be the companies from which I ordered? I'm not going to mention names because I don't want to influence anyone against a company if the problem is merely me not liking VG. Anyway, thoughts? Opinions?

ETA: Went back to using the PG stuff, and it's still a little harsh to me, but I'm having better luck with it than I did at first.

Could be either one. Plenty of people dislike VG, I just read (yesterday?) someone say it leaves a film in their mouth that tastes like they've been chewing on a candle.

I've wondered about this too...I read somewhere that attys don't like to be dry, so I didn't know if it was okay to store them that way, or prime them when they're dry even if I'm not going to use them right away.

I leave mine in a box unprimed after a clean (which I have to tell ya isn't often i clean em) and they work fine when I use them so far ~Jo~. Usually tho I jsut throw the ones Im not using which I just blow out, I dont wash them or anything unless theres some issue going on with 'em. So likely theres old juice in there (hmm...eww...lol) that serves as some kind of agent to keep them moist; but I rotate them throughout the day if I have a really different flavor (by which I mean I have a seperate atty for fruit juice than coffee/caramel/tobacco flavors). Like I said IF I clean any - and it has happened - I dont reprime before I put them up and so far no issues.
As far as juice, I have a mix of PG//VG because for ME at least I find thats the best of both worlds. I do have some all VG but not sure if they coat my tongue or not; food and drink can do that too and I'm not sure how I'd differentiate.
It *could* be the juice or it could be the juice that tastes harsh is simply too high in nic. I've found that not all nic strengths are created equal even if they appear to be.
Example - I can deal with 24mg nic in small doses (its really high so not an all day vape thing for me) but in all VG I find it almost overpowers some of the flavors from SOME companies, but not all of them. On some of my all (or mostly) VG its fine.
I have some 12mg which are mostly PG with some VG and they seem quite strong to me at times also - and thats a different company again. SO..why not try varying the nic first before varyng the carrier liquid and see what results you get? You can always add it to another juice if its too low/hgih so as not to waste it :)

Actually, I'm not the one who feels like it coats her mouth. None of my juices have made me feel that way. The stuff that was harsh at first was straight PG, and one bottle was 18mg, and the other was no nic, and I think I just didn't give myself a chance to get used to vaping it, because neither bothers me now.

The problem with the all or mostly VG stuff is that it seems to have a saccharine sweet taste to it and leaves a horrible aftertaste. And I couldn't get that "sweet" taste out of my atty, which is why I'm trying to clean it. :)

Anyway, thanks, y'all. I have some juice that's about half and half coming today, so I'll see if I have the same problem with it. It's just hard to know at first what's normal, and what's short term, and what the hell to buy in the meantime.
