I think I'll take the advice and grab a 5 pack of the cartomizers, sounds like thats the best way to go. Now that I think about it, I was able to get a lot more use out of the Blu cartomizers between refills than I do with these poly-filled tips.

When it comes to adding liquid directly to the atty, do I want to ensure the drops go onto the grey metal wick, or just let the drops fall where they may?

On a dry atty it might make a difference but, I haven't seen it when I'm dripping and just drip a little more to keep it going. So, I'm not 100% sure.
