Questions Regarding EGO...

I've started vaping with a 808D-1 and unfortunately the upgrade but has already bitten me. I am interested in moving to an ego, but since I am relatively new to vaping I had a question. When looking at supplies I notice there are carts and carto's. Does this mean you can either use an atty/cart or a carto with these units? Any preference of a Janty or Joye?

You can use both atties and cartomizers. I'm using a 510 carto on mine right now. It's pretty nice. Of course, to use a KR808D-1 cartomizer, you'll need a 510>808 adapter.

I use 510 cartomizers on my eGo all the time. There are also the new GIANT eGo cartomizers, have used one, and it's very nice! You can also use a 510 atty and cartridge combo, if you like. My eGo came from Tasty Vapor...it's a great kit.

The Janty and Joye egos are the same thing, just a different logo on the tip. If I'm not using one of the mods, then I'm using the ego with a cartomizer. I was a dripping only type of guy until I tried cartos, then my dripping days were over. That is, until I got my Mr. Puffer today. Auto dripping is pretty sweet too.

The one thing you most definitely cannot use on an eGo is the battery charger from a 510. Other than that, everything else (attys, carts and cartos) is fine.

I use a Riva (same as eGo with a little better battery IMO) with this adapter 510 to 901/808-D Adapter and kr808 cartos quit a bit. It's a nice combo.
