Hello fellow vapers, I hope all you moms out there had a great Mothers Day!! Im curious, is there a normal refillable time on cartos or do they all differ? I bought a standard 510 low res carto last Thursday and have refilled/topped it off maybe 6 times and I am not getting near the vapor production/flavor that I was getting the first few times that I filled it. Is this normal? Do cartos not last very long? Thanks for reading.

I have had a sort of hit-or-miss time with them. One lasted over two weeks, another less than three days. Sometimes cleaning em makes em good as new, other times they never revive. It seems that the darker the flavour, the worse it is for lifespan with mine, but I am new enough it could be coincidence. Hope you figure it out!

I've had cartos will 'work' (produce vapor) for 3-4 weeks. BUT, there is a drop off of vapor production. How long one will work 'to your liking' will depend on the juice, the voltage of your e-cig, and of course your personal taste.
For me- I use Boge LR (2.0) on a regulated mod running 4.2 volts. After 3 days- I pretty much toss it.

Dark juices will clog up the fibers in a carto pretty quickly. Even VG works in a carto if it's clear or at least translucent. I buy about 6 boxes of cartos at a time and some wick well from the start and others are a little tightly packed and have to be coaxed into accepting the juice.

Once they start to get a funny taste, I toss them and start another. You should get at least 3 days before that happens, though.

Clearomizers are similar. The rope wicking absorbs thinner, clearer, juices well. The more VG content, the harder it is to get them to wick. If you stand them upright on the battery, the wicking efficiency suffers. Turn a clearo horizontally and orient it so that the wicks are submerged and they will vape better. Refilling them when half empty also keeps the wicks submerged deeper in the juice.
