Hi there
TurnXTop!
I just got my first ever automatic Mega eGo from Jack this week, the silver one - and it's sweet!
Just a quick word of advice - I personally recommend avoiding the cone. I love my new Mega eGo but do
not plan on using the cone with it ever again. It acted like a silencer, and also
seriously tightened the draw. I may as well have been vaping with the GingerPuff 900, lol.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/140890-all-new-pv-gingerpuff-900-a.html (Well ...almost. ) But yeah, the draw was really awful with the cone on.
Without it, everything's fine - cartos perform great, excellent automatic action, nice easy draw just like with the 510s, rich consistent power - very pleasing. Just figured you could save yourself a few bucks there. The look of the eGo without the cone is perfectly fine, too.
Also, because the eGo is more powerful than the 510 (and the Mega eGo even more so)...I'd recommend that you
not plug the fast USB charger directly into your computer's USB port when charging your eGo. You want your computer to be safe...& better safe than sorry. Instead, get the USB Wall Plug Adapter (to plug into a wall socket) & plug the fast USB charger into that. I got both of those & the automatic Mega eGo batt...& I was good to go.
The price difference between a regular eGo starter kit from Jack...vs separately ordering the USB Wall Plug Adapter + fast USB charger + 2 Mega eGo batts from Jack...is negligible (about 3 bucks). Mind you, the regular eGo starter kit also comes with a cone, 2 separate atomizers, 5 cartridges, a carrying pouch & nicer packaging. I only knew that I wanted the extra power of the Mega, & could only afford one new battery last week anyway (I'll get a second one soon). Plus I'm a cartomizer-only gal, so the extra goodies in the eGo starter kit didn't appeal to me. So yeah.
(Just wish I'd known the cone sucked, lol - I could've gotten another 5 pack of Boge cartomizers instead, or put the dough towards some of the 1.5 ohms LR 510 cartomizers I've been eager to try. But we live & learn! )
As to PayPal...well, apart from the fact that they're ridiculously slow in several areas,
and none too safe or friendly (for customer or supplier),
and generally speaking royally suck (especially compared to the beautiful, speedy, hassle-free-on-every-end Interac Email Money Transfer option)...apart from all that, they are decidedly
unfriendly towards vaping in general. The reason Jack doesn't have them as a payment option anymore is because
they decided that they didn't like vaping:

So I think you'll find (though I'm not sure) that any Canadian suppliers who haven't already been told the same, have voluntarily removed it as a payment option. But it's no great loss for Canadians. Interac EMT makes PayPal totally obsolete anyway (and does a bazillion times better of a job, too) when you're buying from Canadian suppliers. I'd advise that you pull everything from your PayPal into your bank account asap (it'll take at least 5 business days - ridiculous, isn't it?), and only use Interac EMT from now on.
Hope that helped, happy holidays & vaping!
