I got my stuff a while back and it works perfectly. I'm about to order some more juice, Just wondering if there are any other options for getting stuff besides Vapables?
Check out Happer Vaper and Vaporskitchen

TurnXTop, glad to see things are going well for you. And you're right, this forum is a great place.

Of all the Canadian suppliers for premixed e-juice with nicotine, VaporsKitchen is definitely worth checking out, as CanWEBada recommends. They have by far the largest list of flavours (available in premixed juices, that is) yet that I've seen from a Canadian supplier. A huge variety! evelwmn on youtube also really likes the juices from them, which is a good vote in their favour. Other suppliers for premixed e-juice with nicotine include Evapers, NicFitNation, NorthernVapor, Epuff.ca...I'm sure there are several I've forgotten to mention here.

But yeah, there are definitely Canadian options beyond Vapables.

If you're open to DIY, I recommend Evapers for your flavourless PG with nicotine. In my opinion, DIY-ing your own juices just can't be beat. Evapers for the flavourless PG with nic...& Happy Vaper for everything else (flavourless PG/VG & concentrated flavourings - he carries over 300!).

With premixed juices, you don't have any idea how much flavouring has been mixed in. It might be 15%...it might be 2%. I don't see what's so good about not knowing how much flavour is in your juice; it baffles me that more folks don't agree.

A premixed juice also can't be altered without diluting the flavour in it even further. Lastly, if you buy a bottle & find you hate the flavour...well you can try to "salvage" it somehow, but (depending on how much you dislike it) the bottle is likely to go to waste.

Granted, there are some great premixed juices out there. People buy them, vape them, love them. If you're lucky, you'll discover great juices like that early on. I'm just pointing out that (especially for a newbie) there's a lot more trial & error (and expense) involved in going that way.

I just can't see the sense in spending $10 to $30 on a large bottle of juice with a flavour I've never tried & might hate, and where I don't even know how much flavouring has gone into it...vs spending pennies worth of PG w/nic, 2 or 3 bucks for the flavouring, and a minute or two of my time to test a new flavour in a small 2 or 3mL batch, which I can fine-tune to my personal preference without any loss of flavour or nicotine or what have you. Anyway...I've said my piece.

Have fun checking out those Canadian sites, and hope you find some flavours you really like.

Thanks for the help everyone, I haven't smoked an analog since receiving my 510 starter kit in August =]. Vaping is great an I've begun researching the next step up from the 510. I'm looking at either 510 mega batteries or an ego starter kit. I'm wondering if there are any other models that I can take with me to get through the day. I'm leaning towards the 510 mega batteries though I've heard the EGO has many advantages over it, I'm just not too fond of the "Kazoo" look.

I agree with born. After the third hour of vaping without putting your PV down, you'll come to realize that the looks of the eGo aren't nearly as important as you might have once thought. (In fairness, I'm only referring to my experience, I wouldn't presume to know how you might react). I still love my 510's (though I only rarely use them anymore), but the performance drop on the 510's feels too drastic now that I've begun vaping nearly constantly while at home. With the eGo battery, that performance drop is much more subtle, as it occurs over a much longer period of time.

Hi there TurnXTop!
huggy.gif
I just got my first ever automatic Mega eGo from Jack this week, the silver one - and it's sweet!
biggrinfinal.gif

Just a quick word of advice - I personally recommend avoiding the cone. I love my new Mega eGo but do not plan on using the cone with it ever again. It acted like a silencer, and also seriously tightened the draw. I may as well have been vaping with the GingerPuff 900, lol. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/140890-all-new-pv-gingerpuff-900-a.html (Well ...almost.

But yeah, the draw was really awful with the cone on.

Without it, everything's fine - cartos perform great, excellent automatic action, nice easy draw just like with the 510s, rich consistent power - very pleasing. Just figured you could save yourself a few bucks there. The look of the eGo without the cone is perfectly fine, too.

Also, because the eGo is more powerful than the 510 (and the Mega eGo even more so)...I'd recommend that you not plug the fast USB charger directly into your computer's USB port when charging your eGo. You want your computer to be safe...& better safe than sorry. Instead, get the USB Wall Plug Adapter (to plug into a wall socket) & plug the fast USB charger into that. I got both of those & the automatic Mega eGo batt...& I was good to go.

The price difference between a regular eGo starter kit from Jack...vs separately ordering the USB Wall Plug Adapter + fast USB charger + 2 Mega eGo batts from Jack...is negligible (about 3 bucks). Mind you, the regular eGo starter kit also comes with a cone, 2 separate atomizers, 5 cartridges, a carrying pouch & nicer packaging. I only knew that I wanted the extra power of the Mega, & could only afford one new battery last week anyway (I'll get a second one soon). Plus I'm a cartomizer-only gal, so the extra goodies in the eGo starter kit didn't appeal to me. So yeah. (Just wish I'd known the cone sucked, lol - I could've gotten another 5 pack of Boge cartomizers instead, or put the dough towards some of the 1.5 ohms LR 510 cartomizers I've been eager to try. But we live & learn!

As to PayPal...well, apart from the fact that they're ridiculously slow in several areas, and none too safe or friendly (for customer or supplier), and generally speaking royally suck (especially compared to the beautiful, speedy, hassle-free-on-every-end Interac Email Money Transfer option)...apart from all that, they are decidedly unfriendly towards vaping in general. The reason Jack doesn't have them as a payment option anymore is because they decided that they didn't like vaping:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-longer-permitted-accept-paypal-payments.html

So I think you'll find (though I'm not sure) that any Canadian suppliers who haven't already been told the same, have voluntarily removed it as a payment option. But it's no great loss for Canadians. Interac EMT makes PayPal totally obsolete anyway (and does a bazillion times better of a job, too) when you're buying from Canadian suppliers. I'd advise that you pull everything from your PayPal into your bank account asap (it'll take at least 5 business days - ridiculous, isn't it?), and only use Interac EMT from now on.

Hope that helped, happy holidays & vaping!

Alright, I guess I'll have to spend the money I have left on my paypal on something else, like a Christmas juice supply! Can I still nick the "Vapehappy" discount if I use the same credit card but send to a friends' address? I'm going to be order the Mega batteries/chargers/atomizers/etc separately and it would be nice to keep the cost down. It'd also be nice if happy vaper just started offering mega battery EGO/510 kits.

^You know this from personal experience? The paypal accepted on that site caught my eye and I did postpone my happy vaper order because he's out of ego usb chargers. Those prices are also amazing. I;ll read up on it to see if it's legit. Thanks for the info. That site doesn't carry EGO mega batteries though. I'm thinking of buying the batteries from Happy Vaper and everything else from greenhouseone.

TurnXTop, you might want to send Jack a quick email asking if he's actually out of the eGo USB chargers, or if the site is just saying that. More than once I've seen an item at Happy Vaper appear to be out of stock, only to ask Jack about it and hear back from him: "oops! No no, we do have them. Updating the site now. Thanks!"

Chances are pretty good he has 'em.

As to GreenhouseOne...they apparently ship their orders directly from China, rather than here from Toronto as Jack does. They seem to act more as a go-between, rather than as a local supplier. Between you & me, I wouldn't bet strongly on anything that you were to order now arriving from China before the New Year. With Jack, I always know it'll take only a day or two. And shipping an item from China to Canada will not only take longer...but it will cost more. With Jack, you'll always have it fast & affordably. Just saying.

Also, in the case of the eGo USB charger...GreenhouseOne has 'em for $5.99. Happy Vaper has 'em for $6.99. GreenhouseOne also doesn't stock the Mega eGo batts that you wanted (Jack does). All in all, I'd have to recommend Jack for you, in this case.

Thanks rachelcoffe, you have been very helpful.

After further looking into it and doing the math, I've realized the advantages of continuing to order locally. I'll ask about the eGo USB charger. I've also learned that I can bypass the dreaded "Kazoo" look of the eGo by using XL Cylinder atomizer + XL Cylinder Carts and from what I've read, they work great. Now I have absolutely no gripes about the eGo.

Alternatively, I could buy the eGo Battery to 510 Charger Adapter and use it with my 510 charger but I still need a Happy eGo USB Charger as I'm giving the second eGo to a close friend.

The 510 chargers are 150ma chargers, where the eGo chargers are 450ma.

What that means is your eGo will charge on a 510 charger but it will take a long time, 6 hours vs 2 hours. (don't hold me on the time with a stopwatch, it depends on how discharged the battery is + the age of the battery, however the ratio between the two is accurate).

Also remember NOT to charge the 510 on an eGO charger as it will damage the 510 battery.

I have both the 510 and the Bloog. Here are my thoughts

The Bloog batteries are slightly heavier, a little longer, and a little thicker than the 510. Personally I think the 510 batteries feel a little cheap in their construction by comparison. Battery life is also better on the Bloog. I get about 3-4 hours of heavy (out drinking) vaping out of the Bloog where I would get about 1.5-2 hours out of the 510. The Bloog is based off the KR808 style connectors, and run at a slightly higher voltage than the 510/eGo. You get a hotter vape, and I find personally a more consistant thicker vape from the Bloog.

The 510 tends to drop off in vapor/flavour around half to 3/4 way through the battery. The bloog does as well, but it's not nearly as noticable as the 510. I believe this has to do with the regulated power on the Bloog that I don't believe the 510 has.

For the price of the two systems, personally I would go with the Bloog. It is newer technology and of course technology gets better as time goes on. I still love my 510 with PCC and a CE2R4 Carto, but I find the Bloog has been out performing it quite consistantly since I picked up my kit.

One word of caution, and this goes for all Auto batteries. You really need to be careful when filling. Make sure you remove the carto from the battery, and be sure the carto isn't leaking, the airway is clear, and threads are clean before you put it back on the battery. Failure to do so can result in juice getting to the battery and killing it.
