I don't think it matters super dave. Drott only has the Steelers for 29 points. So I think you win with your pick and the 42 points. I changed my pick on Friday and nutted the Packers at 38 points. I was hoping Peyton would of took the rest of the night off after breaking the record. Well played indeed and congrats!

Okay - I've been very busy all day and just got back to read all the post and now here is the situation . . .

First and foremost, THANK YOU to all of the people who stepped up to defend "Me" - I really do appreciate everything that was said, although some were, shall we say - a backhanded compliment . . . (Even though they may be deserved . . . Just Sayin' . . . )

As for how I post and say something on ECF, especially here . . . In the future everyone should at least . . .

Congratulations, Super Dave! I sure would appreciate it, though, if you would tell Peyton to tone it down this Thursday. My Chargers are a bit beaten up with injuries, so he really should just take it easy on them. After all, we'll play again later in the season, right?

Panic, Uncle has a particular style to his writing that sometimes takes a little getting used to. I can see how you construed it as insulting with the "you" and angry looking emoticons, but I can assure you that he intended no malice, rudeness, or other personal attack in any form. My suggestion for both sides is to just let the matter drop. We have a new week of football coming up and another opportunity to play, so let's all try to make our entries in the right format and move on.

I'll talk to Peyton and ask Elway to talk to him too but don't know if it'll do any good but maybe the Broncos can show a little sympathy anyway...we'll try not Hay & thanks everyone for the pre congrats, I appreciate it & hope I can look forward to the great juice!


Hi panicrevs, I wouldn't get upset. Just follow the rules & double check! Uncle is the referee here amongst many other things he oversees here and is a stickler on how you post, due to the many that have made the mistake's after being told repeatedly and then still don't follow the rules.
I believe he has very good intentions and a very good since of humor and up to you to determine by maybe you saying something like....throw in the red flag and ask for an instant replay or something! Sorry...you just happened along and didn't put the team your name & score in the right order, the last one to do that got fined 10 drops of their last order and had to pay for the time it took him to correct everything...
who am I but just trying to help and throw in some humor here and hope all can be good and Good Luck also!! Hope you keep playing & have fun here!

Back to football. Well, I'm a Seahawk fan and with the loss of one of my favorites, #11 Percy, and two losses back to back, one of which was arguably to the worst team in the league, my only fun the last few weeks is following Willy's Cowboys, the Dolphins and Green Bay. Anybody but Denver or the 49'rs. lol! Not a fan here in the NW. Although I have way more respect for Manning then John Elway. Good on him for the 509 record, especially after his surgery and, I can say this, I'm old, his age!
