Well put Grimmer! When a company like Apple sells a product for $3000.00, it is sold for 3000.00 EU, etc., etc...The way of Imeo's business practice is MORE than fair. Most business is done this way...Go to Germany, and Mercedes are the national Taxi. When you make a superior product, it costs less in the country of origin. As for the yada yada cost issue that I am SO tired of hearing...Let the ignorants keep buying their less expensive devices, and find themselves replacing them time and time again. I had EVERY friggen Chinese model e.cig b4 I saw Iken's review of the Grant, and I NEVER went back! I now own two TS's and have sent 3 people to the World Of Imeo's Hand Made Creations. I was one who voted to keep the GG Franchise Boutique. This is the foundation of what makes the GG special...it is most definitely a modern art piece! Aside from the material aspect, there is NO other device in the world of e. cigs, that brings such AMAZING people together from all over the world. I travel frequently, and I am sure that whenever I go to a place I've not been b4, and a GG brother or sister is there...they will most graciously show me around. I've gotten to know Imeo over the past year and a half, and I can tell you that the love and passion put into ea. hand made piece is the foundation upon which everything will continually be supported. For people to comment on something they've NEVER held in their own two hands...well, there's a universal word for that and it is called IGNORANCE! It speaks VOLUMES when one of the first and best reviewers (Señor Scott) receives a TS for review, and the next day goes out and purchases one for himself!!! Anyone who raves about owning a piece of Imeo's creations, is not exhibiting "Fanboyism" by any means...They are merely feeling the positive energy and love (which is proven to retain in metals, gems etc.) that is sent with every single piece that leaves Imeo's hands This is what Imeo's grand master plan was to be...GG will find YOU...YOU will NOT find GG

I currently use a Protege, and it is doing the job "okay", for now, though I do have the oft reported issues with the switch. So, it's not that I think the GG line is over-priced (I do not), it's that I have a hard time justifying to myself going out and spending more money on PV's than I already have. Yes, the math works out in the long run, but right now I am not spending any money other than for attys and eliquid - it's THAT mental hurdle I must get over.

To some, Imeo may come off as a bit narcissistic, but those people need to understand, Imeo is translating things the best he knows how to English.. sometimes things get lost in the translation. And there's nothing wrong with Imeo being confident in his product. He would be a lousy engineer/businessman if he wasn't.

If people would just take that energy, hate, passion or whatever and channel it into something worthwhile, then the world would be a much better place.

It just bothers me that there is such discrimination about a freaking Mod!
I feel like I will be flamed and treated like a second class citizen because I happen to think my GGTS is a nice piece of equipment? I'm a fanboi because I get excited about the new stuff, and I think Imeo is a nice guy because he has treated me with nothing but respect?

If Imeo for some reason started producing crap, I'd stop buying the stuff... but for crying out loud I wouldn't hate the guy...

But whatever, the world is a twisted place. I've said my piece and I'll get off the soapbox. But I will say one thing, when an internet forum starts to incite nerdrage in you... it's time to take a break and find something else to do.

Anyhow, good move Lisa, just let it be, it's not worth it. The products will sell themselves.. I don't see how it can be denied that the GGs are solid mods. But you can't please all the people all the time... Hell.. if you can please any of them, then you have miles on most of us.

I agree Dacco, maybe if you knew GG earlier you could buy it before you spend so much money to other cigs and accesories

Well-explained, and you don't have to have a GG to be a valued part of the community here - we are very accepting of anyone who can have a reasoned conversation. When the equipment you currently has no longer satisfies you, at least you know GG is out there for you if you want it.

It's very hard for us when we see completely incorrect information out there - the correct information always needs to be transparent, right here, where people need it - we've had situations in the past where we didn't nip rumours in the bud quickly enough and they then became accepted fact because of it.

There's a lot of history relating to the GG-haters that people might not be aware of so my posting here may have been seen as not the best way to tackle things. However, those who are fully aware of the history would know exactly why I had to correct these issues here, and in this way.

We all put so much hard work and care into getting these products out to people, it's not hard to work out why we get upset when false stuff is said at our expense.

A lot of those people who dont get the prices do not realize that the value of the GG is based on Euros not USD. Imeo lives in Greece, he manufactures his GG's in Greece. Greece uses the Euros as a currency. SO his prices naturally will be in Euro, because he to must pay in Euros to have his product made. So everything he buys is at the cost of Euros.... Right now its takes roughly $1.31 USD to 1 Euro.... in other words its roughly .75 Euros to 1 USD. in other words based on Lisas prices it would cost $166 USD to purchase the GGTS which is 127 euros. I think thats right.... conversion pricing can be confusing sometimes lol...

My prices are in GB POUNDS, not Euros, we had the sense not to join the Euro!!

We work out the prices based on the exchange rate at the time we purchase from Imeo. All prices are roughly equal at all times. The original price was £130 (pounds). My price reduced to £127.50 when the exchange rate changed between the pound and euro so we're all trying to keep up with the exchange rate on a batch per batch basis as much as possible.

Can't ship to the US for several reasons, but don't worry, Rob has all the same stuff as I have. The end caps are not available separately until they arrive anyway and mine will arrive at a similar time to Rob's. Imeo has more magnets on order as we speak too.
