quick passthrough question

quick question before work! is this how i wanna wire it for a simple 5v passthrough with no LED's? thank you!!

Yes. Positive lead connects to the center of the PV connector, negative to the outside edge. Make sure the switch is rated at least 2 amps.

I strongly recommend you use this with a dedicated USB power supply, again at least 2 amps, not a PC USB port. That's to avoid possible PC damage, whether from just trying to pull more current than the power supply can provide or in case of a short circuit happening.

what would you recommend for a USB power supply? im trying to get a mod i dont have to shell out 50$ plus for as im in a tight spot at the moment, i was gonna use my laptop or desktops usb. any recommendations and what i should do? i like my ego no dought but ide like somthin with a little more kick for at home on the cheaper side. i seen the box mod kit with charger and all for 45$ but its gonna be atleast a few weeks yet before i can come up with that.

I've used the Walmart online iq 2a dual usb power supply, just under $10. It is 2a total output.

Have them deliver to a local walmart and you don't have any s&h.

oh ok thats what ya ment. its cheap a nuff but man does that take away from the "handy ness" the plugs in my house are all in weird hard to get to places. oh well geuss ill have to re-orginize stuff its not worth killing my computer over lol

Dollar store extension cords are fine. You're drawing tiny current off of the AC.
