How is everyone doing tonight?

Up until this point I have only used a tank and an RDTA and I just received my first rda, a Peerless (Geek vape). I threw a basic build on it and everything is going swell except that I am a bit worried about running dry.

Actually, I'll be honest, I am terrified of inhaling burnt cotton (never had a dry hit). I already overfilled the thing once.

So my question is, how much of a warning am I going to get when it runs dry? Should I just switch to TC now because I can do that...would it help?

You can definitely tell because the taste will change and start tasting burnt before it runs dry and burns cotton (the cotton will scorch a bit).

Thanks, I'll keep cautiously using it and try and refrain from refilling.

Are you using a dropper or squeeze bottle to add juice to it?

Dropper is all I have.

It takes a Little Time to get the Rhythm of dripping with a RDA. And you kinda learn by the Sound and the taste of Last Hit you got when it is time to Drip. And How Much to drip.

Dripping (to Me) is when a TC Mod really can Shine. Because I just don't get Dry Hits using a my Tanks. And I can See how much e-Liquid is left when the Tank gets low.

If you like the hit you are getting from your RDA, you might consider down the road trying Squonking with something like the Pico Squeeze or the DripBox 60w.

All the Great Taste you get from an RDA. But you aren't tied to carrying around a Dripping Bottle. Because the Dripping Bottle is Built Into the Mod!

If you never experienced a dry hit you are being much too careful vaping. Through caution to the wind and give it a try and then you can call yourself a real vaper. :2cool:
Yeah I was gonna say, you won't know what it's like until it happens to you. Then, you'll have a much better idea of what to watch out for. You do maybe get a few sort of "warning" hits, but you might not recognize them for what they are until you experience them a few times, and what comes after.

Like everyone has said you do get a warning as the vapor begins to thin out that its time to drip again. If you never experienced a dry hit you are being much too careful vaping. Through caution to the wind and give it a try and then you can call yourself a real vaper. :2cool:

The worst dry hit I ever had was after a new coil build. Wicked it with cotton. Set it down because I had to go take care of something. Then I let it rip when I got back. Totally did not add any juice. I almost wanted to quit vaping at that point. It was traumatic.

You are totally not helping! (LOL)
