Quick Question about my new Lemo drop is it fake?

Hey gang, Just got my lemo drop a few days ago. After looking at most of every lemo drop review and pictures something seems diffrent my top cap doesnt have the ridges like everyone elses does? Also most reviewers say that the coil build reads 1.5 ohms give or take mine reads 1.0 ohm. using istick 30w. Thanks for any info given

I've not heard of anyone cloning the Lemo.

My drop has no ridges on the top cap, and the fitted coil is between 1 and 1.1 ohm.

if you do a quick google search every photo shows ridges on the top cap that goes onto the barrel of the deck? i posted a picture under mine showing. But maybe iam just paranoid .

I think the first batch or so of the drops, the top chimney section came smooth, no grippy ridges!

Does the box have the authenticity code on it? I don't own a Lemo but my iStick30 had the authenticity code on the box. I haven't seen a Lemo drop clone anywhere yet.

Early production Drops had a smooth chimney top. I'm sure it's real. Surprisingly, I've never seen a Lemo clone.

Yo mean the top chimney ridges?? Probably because its a manufacturing defect and the machine didnt stamp the ridges in to the top chimney.
Go ahead and exchange it, ridges makes its easier to remove the top chimney.


As far as the coil, make your own coil to your own ohm liking.



Next time take the tank apart and take a better picture of the exact part.

Both, my lemo and lemo drop came with 1.0 ohm coil premade and smooth drip tip.

Im going to be building coils as soon as my ohm meter comes in. Just keeping it safe. I posted a picture of the top cap i just wasnt ready to empty my juice yet.

The full size Lemos aren't knurled and I haven't had any issues in 6.5 months. I wouldn't bother exchanging it myself.
