Quick question on coils

Had to think about this one ... ok as the coil gets gunked , you go through less juice, the less juice equates to less puffs. Wait maybe it's your going through more juice which makes sense because if the coil is gunked it becomes less efficient. If less efficient I believe the juice is being wasted some how. Maybe the juice starts seeping away

I don't worry about it, I just vape it.
You must be buying premade juice and the price is killing you. Can I suggest diy juice? It only cost about $1 per 30ml bottle to diy. Then you can be in with the cool kids who don't care how much juice they are wasting.

I like azplunbers theory, and also you can maybe think of it like a car, if it needs a tune up the gas mileage goes down

@Scy123 haha I'd love to make my own juice but how ?! The price isn't really killing me at all I only go through 3 4ml tanks a day.
Buy nic base/PG/VG/Flavors and mix them in the right ratio is basically what you do.

@Scy123 you should make a video on how to make your own juice lol. So it's as simple as buying the right nic based pg/vg flavoring and mixing it together that's it? Someone was saying you had to let it steep/sit around for a month or so?
Only a difference of 50 puffs, maybe even less he said. 50 puffs could be as little a 1ml of liquid

I think the answer like azplumber said, it's that as the coil gets gunked, you have to puff a little harder which heats the coil a little hotter, thus burning more juice.

@daviedog im running the crown tank .25 coil. So far this is what I got; installed the coil Thursday night primed it and let it sit over night:
Tank 1-238 puffs
Tank 2-169 puffs
Tank 3-215 puffs
Tank 4-147 puffs
Tank 5-148 puffs
I wouldn't put soo much emphasis on puff count, there's just to many variables. For one not every puff you take is the same. Is the tank completely empty every time you fill and start puff count? And are you sure you fill precisely the same every time? Those may not account for the whole juice discrepancies but could account for some. That along with different puffs can make differences from tank to tank. And as a whole, the older the coil, the less puffs you will get. You seem to average 40 to 50 puffs per ml of juice which seems good . I am using at the moment a coil that's 1 ohm on a kayfun mini 3 (which is not going to eat as much juice as your sub ohm tank) and I average like 35. What juice are you actually vaping? A thicker sweeter juice will shorten the life of coil faster, I have some juices that I can get many many tanks out of compared to some that will destroy coil after one tank.
