Quick question on DIY

Hey all long time since I posted on these forums.. Learn a lot on the hardware side and got my first advanced PV (lavatube) and I love it.

Started the DIY mixing quest today. I read up a little and watched a few tutorial videos on youtube. I came home from work and was brave enough to have an attempt.

I followed the Iphone app

(100% PG)
27mg base liquid
target 18mg

3.3ml nic base
1.2ml 0 nic
10 drops of Flavour (fruit punch)

Results I can accept for a first try. Two issues though
Firstly the flavour was too strong but I know next time to use less drops, you live and learn.
Second I need help with though. The vapor production is not what i expected. When I puff it seems as normal but when i take it back very little vapour is exhaled.

Can anyone help me here?

I think VG produces more vapor, so instead of 100% PG maybe try a mix with VG in it.

almost no one mixes 100% pg...ive seen people make 100% VG before but thats usually for health reasons

you need some VG in there if you want more vapor

i suggest 80/20 if you really are partial to PG

but i like mine at about 50/50....nice middle of vapor and minor throat hit

Ok thanks people. I will pick up some glycerine from the chemist (Boots) on the way home from work tomorrow and try again.

So to make the same 5ml according to my calculator..

3.3ml of Nic juice (PG)
0.5 of PG
1ml of VG
5 drops flavor 5% (halving the amount and go from there)

Also would I need to add any distilled water to the VG? and if anyone from the UK can answer do boots sell this too?

No need of water for the VG. You might need water if you are doing 100 VG which is not your case. I do 20PG/80VG all the time with no problem for wicking without water.

Yeah try 50/50 blend ,You can buy 24mg 50/50 blend from Wizardlab and then mix down to 18mg nic. Make sure to get either some pg or vg to mix it down with.I would also recommend always start with less flavor and then add slowly to get desired tatse

I can't say for sure (some people vape it) but it says on the link your provided:"Directions: For sore throats: Adults, the elderly and children: Take 1 or 2 x 5ml spoonfuls of liquid. Repeat after 4 hours if required."
If 10ml every 4 hours orally is not harmful, I wouldn't think 3 mils a day vaped would be.

Ok just got back and injected a tiny ammount into my stardust with the DIY vape in. What a difference it's now vapeable. useing it right now

Very first attempt juice was transformed from fail to not bad for a first go Im actyally enjoying it

Thank you all for the advice now I know to add VG the prologue is over and the quest can begin

The 80% PG /20% VG mix looks like it is best for me

As far as I'm aware, Halfords sell distilled water... I don't use that or alcohol in my mixes and they still taste great to me!x
