It does. It doesn't really matter how you prevent the air-tight sealing which causes both the air bubble and the juice-in-the-nipple thing, I suppose. I am just pathologically lazy. Mutilating the tip is less work than removing the plug and then cutting the nipple, so... ;)

true, but your way could leak, while cutting down the nipple shouldn't leak. after yesterday and having a full fluxomizer leak in my pocket twice, I'm against leaks now.

I got a vision giant today, now I can clearly see why people thought I was nuts, the vision giant mouthpiece just goes a little bit onto the nipple so there will be much less of an airbubble problem plus the extra size means people probably aren't concerned with filling it all the way.

basically its the same as when the nipple is cut down on the regular.
