Quick vivi nova question please help

Alright as sad as it may seem for how popular these are... I have never tried a vivi nova. I'm ready to buy one. I use an Ego Twist so should I get the 1.8 ohm low resistance heads or the 2.8 high resistance heads? What will be the difference in performance on that battery?

I personally prefer the 2.4 ohm heads with my Twist. I have heard the using the low resistance heads can cause problems for the Twist but I am unsure how true that is. Really, any head can be dialed in to give the same wattage by adjusting the voltage so there is not much of a performance difference between the different heads if you are using VV. The higher resistance heads do seem to provide a warmer vape as they heat up much more quickly but that is really the only difference I have noticed.

As for battery life, my experience has been that the higher resistance stuff requires more voltage, which drains the battery faster.

Both of the heads will work but you might want the 2.8 heads because they will allow you a greater voltage range. With the 1.8 head you will have to keep your voltage low. With the other, you can use low voltage or high voltage depending on what you feel like at any given time, if your throat is hurting, etc etc....

If you get a genuine vision vivi nova 3.5, those come with all three heads in the box 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8. You can order extra heads. I usually only used the 2.4 on my eGo's. Since you do have the Twist, it really is all about dialing the voltage to where you like.

Is the 2.4 the standard resistance? Im getting the tank from myfreedomsmokes because they have them on sale and I happen to have 20 bucks store credit but they only offer the tank with either the 1.8 or the 2.8 heads but they do give you 3 heads. The mini vivi is only 9 bucks. I dont know if its a "genuine" vision vivi nova or if its a version 1,2 or 3 or what...... so given that they only offer the 2 different ohms I'd be ok with the 1.8's?

Like Plumes said, you can use the 1.8 heads but you will be stuck in the lower voltage range. In my experience with the 1.8 hedas, I was not able to go above about 3.6V without a burnt taste to my juice. The 2.8 head will allow you more freedom in voltage.

I'm no expert but I have no issues with the 1.8 heads when my voltage is set to somewhere around 3.5-3.7ish on my twist but it also depends on what juice I'm vaping. I found that higher VG (70%) didn't really vape that good on it.
