Vivi Nova Wicks

Question to all the Vivi Nova v2.5 users out there. Any idea why the 2.8 ohm heads have different wicks than the 1.8 and 2.4? They have one thick braided wick rather than 4 slender wicks on each side.

Is there a difference in performance at all?

All the heads of my 5 2.5's have the 4 slender wicks which I promptly untwist and fluff.

I have a 2.5 (I think) My 2.8 ohm head has the single twisted fat wick like you describe, and my 2.4 and 1.8 have the 4 separate wicks. I've yet to use my 2.8, but it's on deck

I think there is some "fuzziness" as to what different vendors are calling the V2/V2.5 nova. Mine was labeled V2 but has the long wicks and the longer 510 connector, with the draw holes at the top of the threads, instead of in the knurled bottom piece, so I think that makes it a 2.5.

I've seen some vendors advertising a 3.0 already. No idea what the difference is.
