Greetings fellow REONAUTS, I hope everyone is doing well.

I have just a quick question that I can't seem to find a definitive answer on other posts about the Woodvil or I might have overlooked it.

Do I need to be worried about juice getting on this device either on the inside or outside?

I know this doesn't leak and that's not what I am really asking; what I mean is I know the outside is polished but if a drop of juice were to get on the inside or the outside, will it immediately soak in and begin to ruin it?

I just want to make sure I am prepared as mine is on its way to me.

Thank you so much for the help everyone and take care and vape on.

I don't know what you are asking. On the outside, it just wipes off. I have only had a few drops get in the inside, and I wiped it off, although I guess some of it was absorbed. I wouldn't soak the whole mod in juice, but a little bit of glycerin shouldn't hurt anything.

Thanks, that is what I was asking and sorry for the confusion. I just didn't know if any juice gets on or in the device if it will start to deteriorate or stain the device, like seeing little juice spots. The one I am getting is Walnut so it's a pretty dark color.

Oh no, I wouldn't worry about that. The exterior finish shouldn't show anything, and the wood itself is pretty tough. Even though the Woodvils are certainly nice to look at, Rob is all about durability and clean design. On top of that, if anything does happen, Rob can fix it. I know that he has taken older wood REO's that have been banged around a bit, and freshened them up.

Good morning, ED. I would just like to add that it is possible to damage the wood mods if there is 6ml of juice in there and left to soak. This has occurred more than once in shipping...from a third party. Be aware that if left to sit and soak, not only will the wood discolor, but the wood will warp and twist, making it difficult for the door to fit properly. We have one like that....so I added some bling to it and now its hardly noticeable....unless you're holding it. :)

But if we're talking a few drops here and there...your mod will be fine! :)

Not yet MarlyMarl, the tracking says estimated for Thursday .......:)

Thanks Rhapsodies Fire

Is just the outside sealed and polished with the Tung Oil or is the whole thing including the inside?

Thanks again everyone for the quick responses..

Looking at my mini Woodvil, I would say the inside has been oiled, but not finished with the oil/Poly mix. I'll check MX's Woodvil when he comes out of the office. :)
