Quit smoking after 53 years.. Does she have a white Mini?

I have been smoking for 42 years, I started vaping one year and six days ago. I stopped smoking and have not had a cig for the full 1 year and six days, I had tried every type of stop smoking gimmick and none have worked, only vaping has worked! The FDA is just not educated to the power of vaping, but they and the elected officials are being influenced by the lobbyist of the big tobacco companies. It is all about big money and not about health.
just so you know ,I am 55 and have 5 grand daughters and plan to see all of them grow up.

I am not a political person at all but I have never understood lobbyists. I figured politician's were there for the people not the companies. Seems I did not learn enough in school.

Adding to Driwash's testimony: I smoked for 40 years and have not had a cigarette since July 2012, due entirely to vaping. I list my quit date as August 10th, the birthday of a dear friend who died of lung cancer at far too young an age.

I quit almost 10 months ago! I smoked for 30 years. I had a carton left when I quit. I sold all but one pack that's still in my freezer.
I didn't intend to quit either like Granny, it just happened. 5 (hubby, 2 sisters, bro-in-law, nephew, & me) family members and 3 friends who have quit also. I think some of my cousins and an uncle has too. I have loved this journey and I love to talk to people about it.
I was in a grocery store last week and gave a younger (20 something) girl a card to my favorite B&M I told her she's to young and pretty to smoke. I hope she uses it!

I smoked for 9 years, and was a pack a day for probably 7 of them. I quit smoking 2 years and 4 months ago, and since 2014 began I have not had a single analog. I mostly avoided them the previous year of vaping, but would have a drag here and there. Since 2014 not a single drag.
