Has anyone quit smoking with 21mg nicotine pacthes and smoked?; used a Nicatrol 10mg (4mg nicotine when "smoked") and got OD and ende up with servere, constant burning under breastbone which tranfers to upper mid back area (bra strap area) in same place with server pain/burning and fells like a nerve is being pinched.

If anyone else has experienced this, what did you do for pain control and "belly burn" as it's becoming out of control after 2 weeks of being bearable. How long did it last.

Any one have bad reactions to Chantix and Zyban?

I've been off nicotine 8 weeks, used e-cig 11days, 0 nicotine snice I go it 6 weeks ago.

Looking for all advice and info so I can go back to my Dr. and hopefuuly 3 months of this, the'll help me somehow and take me seriously and stop blowing me off!
Thanks.

I think nicotine leaves your system pretty quickly, certainly within a few days. If you've stopped using nic. but are still getting OD symptoms there might be something else going on. If I was you I'd get to the doctor and get checked out, better safe than sorry.

I'm a bit tired and not thinking very well so I'm having trouble understanding your post, sorry. Are you saying you're having nic. OD symptoms after eight weeks without nic? Because if you are that really doesn't sound right to me, could you be having an allergic reaction to something? PG maybe.

Is your doctor not taking you seriously? If that's the case you'd be wise to change to another doctor.

Is the burning you are talking about a skin reaction or is it deeper like muscle or something? Is it like pins and needles?

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I did quit smoking for a month and 1/2 on the patch but I honestly do not remember what dosage and I never smoked while I had a patch on. I also had no side affects to it. The last time I failed at smoking I was using Chantix. I was quit for again about a month and 1/2. Just google Chantix and you'll know why this time I am not using it. I did get a prescription once again for it from my doc but my boyfriend says he'd rather me not take it again because of my "anger outbursts". I swear that pill made me crazy. But other than that the only other side affect I had was cramps in my calf muscles. It does make you not crave much more so than anything else I've tried but I have just decided that I just could take the mood swings again.
