Something that helped me with the "itch" was to vape like I smoked. I was used to running out to smoke during commercials, so I did that. I would also chain vape when the cravings were strong. It might sound corny, but I made a list of all the great things about Not smoking and would read it when I was feeling the urge. -I don't stink, I can vape inside (no going out in the cold of winter or heat of summer), being able to breath better, etc. I also watched lots of vaping videos on YouTube. It kept my mind busy. I even watched videos of people doing smoking type tricks with their mods. Never got the hang of those so much. lol I would also come here and read and read.

I've been trying to quit smoking for at least three weeks I'm using 18 MG juice and I still have the itch to have a cigarette anyone know of a way to break this itch?
Given time and a little effort on your part, the itch will fade. Be reasonable with your expectations - you probably didn't start smoking at the amount that you did right away, and giving them up may just take time for you as well. Maybe get some 24mg juice in a little carto/clearo setup to hit on when the itch gets bad.

It's all about the cigarettes you don't smoke while transitioning.

Do you love your juice?

I quit cigs on the same day that I began vaping, and I must've went through about 75-100 different juices before I eventually found a small handful that I truly liked. That helped me alot at least. It took me a few months of ordering different juice and testing samples here and there, but it was worth it, and I didn't even get the urge to have a single cig, as long as I had some of my favorite juice around.

I'd say that probably 95% of all juice that I've tried, I did not like, for whatever reason, and if I'm trying to quit cigs, I think that it's important to have a juice that is truly good. What that perfect juice is, is anybody's guess, as that varies greatly from person to person of course.

Are you still smoking analogs, or have you been cold turkeying it? What set up are you using too if you don't mind me asking. Nothing wrong with weening off the analogs btw, I'm just curious since you didn't mention what you've been doing thus far.

When I quit I did it cold turkey. Everyone is different though, and no way is the right way. Days 5-15 were the hardest for me. When I would get a really strong urge for a cigarette, I would remember a quote that i heard from someone before, and it helped me tremendously. "The urge to smoke will pass, wether you smoke or not." Obviously the urge will pass much quicker if you actually smoke, but it will pass even if you don't. So instead of picking up an analog, I'd pick up my e cig and vape through it. And eventually, the urge did pass. Gradually the urges were farther and farther apart, until one day I noticed I went almost the entire day without even thinking of smoking.

I have been using a evod batterie with either a evod tank, ce4 tank or and areo tank ( Idk the spelling) wirh 18 mg el toro redbull and I've been trying to ween off the analogs and once I get down to 2-3 analogs a day I'm gonna cold turkey it

Whole Tobacco Alkaloids - Something some need to ween off smoking. Sorry I can't offer much info on it. Never had the need.

When I made the switch I knew I had to beat it for my family. I was 58 at the time and primary support for a family of 7.
It wasn't easy, but Vaping got me there.

Oh cool. That's the device I used to stop, a variable voltage evod battery with an evod glass tank.

Are you into the hobby side of vaping at all? Someone else already mentioned how they watched a bunch of YouTube videos a lot. I did the same. I think a big reason that I was able to make the switch right away is that I got into the hobby side of vaping almost right away. I upgraded to a 40 watt mod and a subohm tank by week 3. I think an evod is a good set up for a beginner, even though there's starter kits now that are a bit better. It worked for me though. I still wanted to experience more of what vaping had to offer though. Are you completely satisfied with your current setup? If not maybe try some different styles of vaping, possible it might satisfy your cravings better. Just a thought.

Okay, similar gear to what got me off the cigs. :)
It can will work.
Going dual-use for a while when transitioning is not an issue, not a problem, not a sign of weakness, not a sign of lack of resolve.
Acknowledge yourself for the progress you've made in the number of cigarettes you haven't smoked.
Allow yourself the process of stepping down and still having those few cigarettes a day as part of it.
Find ways that you can gradually reduce that number through whatever means you can. Exercise, yoga, hits of 24mg vaping - up to you to figure that out.

You're in the company of a lot of people who went through the same struggles you're facing. We got your back, brother. ;)

I am going to go with what Budd said, "Just don't smoke Dill". I'm probably not the person to be taking quit smoking advice from, but I firmly believe you have to first give them up and then deal with what ever comes next. I'm quitting by duel using. I have cut back to about half the cigs I used to smoke, so I am proud of that, only problem is I have been quitting for two years. The whole duel use thing has become locked in a pattern just as bad as cigarettes. Don't be like me, stay resolved, the urges will get easier. Just keep fighting.

I find that subohm'ing 6mg juices helped with the itch. I still had it the first 2 weeks and I would sneak in 1 or 2 a day, but so far 9 days analog free.

It also helps to not surround yourself with analog smokers, went out last weekend with a bunch of friends that smoked, I had 2 puffs of an analog because I ran out of juice, first time in my smokers life that I disliked the taste of traditional cigarettes, 2 puffs it was out.

It took me 8 months to totally quit cigs. My moment came when I found a flavor that I really liked and it had no tobacco flavor in it. It seemed as long as I was vaping tobacco flavors, I could not quit. I started getting tobacco mixed with other flavors and slowly used less and less tobacco til I got to none. Now I really don't like the flavor of tobacco. Wow! I wish I could have put tobacco in this post a couple more times. Tobacco.

Vaping doesn't make you quit smoking, It gives you control. If your cigs have declined 50% call that 50% control. Mine declined from 25 to 5 the day I started. That's success, not failure. So you'd like 100% control? If you don't stop vaping eventually you will stop smoking. That took me 6 weeks. I used the dual use phase to work on hardware, flavors and nic level and adjust to the new sensations. The dual use phase increased my confidence of success when I tried for zero cigs. I knew I would never stop vaping so a relapse would only be back to a few cigs a day. A brother of mine was a dual users for 9 months. A few lucky people stop smoking the day they start vaping. Today I could smoke a cigarette with no risk of relapse. That is where you would like to end up. Patience.
