It doesn't seem like there's anyone who smokes analogs and ecigs, at least from posts i've read. I almost feel like I'm either constantly vaping, or when I only do a couple puffs it leaves me wanting a real cigarette.

Right now I've got an ego-c twist and some E-Quality ejuice, which is sold by a local smokeshop. There's nothing about the juice online besides their half of a site which seems to be aimed at distributors. I just bought some "high" nicotene juice, we'll see if that helps at all. Surprisingly the eq juice I have is beating out mbv by a landslide and myvaporstore, which I wasn't too impressed with either.

Hi Jkais3r, and welcome to ECF.

Well, there's no accounting for taste :)

And no "right" or "wrong", either. If you like it, it's good. For you.

Part of the transition is, indeed, finding flavors you like, and it's a crap shoot there. What I really like may taste like gym socks to you.

Nic level is another big part, finding what keeps you feeling like you're satisfied with vaping. Too high and you'll feel it - just stop for a while and return to normal. Too low, and you're never getting the nic you're used to.

When I finally successfully quit smoking (successful at least up to now), I did it by easing into vaping and smoking at the same time.

It took about a month and I gradually found myself vaping more and smoking less. When the time was right, I stopped buying cigs.

Smoking cessation is tough and vaping is not always hassle-free. A gradual transition made sense to me, but we all have our own stories.

Thanks for the welcome. I guess what I was trying to verbalize in my post was more or less asking about others and their vaping journey, did you instantly like it, what people liked/didn't like about some things, just trying to get an idea of a direction to go. I have no idea the difference between high vg and high pg other than higher vg can flood some tanks. I'm a noob, but trying to learn lol.

Edit, sorry posted after the other two posts were made, should've quoted DavidOck.

And thank you for the other replies, I have a kanger t2 which gives great flavor, but gets a little warm, and a handful of evods, which I feel are meh. I will definitely have to try different nicotene strengths from some online vendors.

I also did both for about a month. I vaped and smoked and eventually, I bought a second battery so I'd never be without and I haven't looked back since then. I'm currently using 24 mg nic liquid to make sure I get enough nicotine and, there are times I chain vape to get through cravings. Keep on doing what you're doing and you'll get there eventually. I tell my husband the same thing, he's currently in "do both" mode too. Quitting analogs is one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do (and I have failed at it many times before...!!)

bear in mind that you can also learn to make your own coils and that will give you (at least in my case) a far more satisfying vape.

just remember to really be careful about doing it, learn how to make them properly so you dont go kaboom whilst vaping.

I used 24mg liquid to start and then quickly jumped to 18mg stuff as I found vendors I liked and ordered stuffs...then 12mg was the next round, about a week later. I was down to smoking about half a pack a day anyway, so I didnt have a super hard time just giving them up completely. Smoked my last one on the way to the local Post Office to pick up...more juice. :)

Lately I use that 12mg stuff from a few different places..really enjoying dessert-y or fruity stuff. Ill spike it with some 18 or 24mg sauce to 1) use it up and b) get a little extra kick of nicotine. I noticed that if I got cravings in the first week and some, I just needed some big honks off the vape and about 5 minutes later..the craving is gone.

it gets easier, I sware.

I'm still smoking stinkies and vaping. I was doing about a pack a day, but with vaping I've cut that down to about one pack every 3 days. It's not something that you can turn off if you've been smoking a long time. Keep in the back of your mind that you want to stop, maybe find a good reason for it. Mine is my baby :). The hardest part for me is the mornings and after I eat. Find a good juice, and good set up. Soon enough, you won't even notice that you haven't had one in awhile.

Good luck and keep trying, you'll get there!

Well, I had actually been eyeing up that halo site. So making a comment of it was just the push I needed. Ordered one of their variety packs, and their prices seem higher, but that really doesn't matter. $8 a day vs $20 for at least a week.

I'm definitely not going to give it up that easily, I only have a hundred-150 bucks sunk into it so far, and that is extremely cheap compared to what I've seen. I feel like it's already saved me a couple packs.

By the way, what tanks/clearo's do you all use? I've said I have a t2 and some evods, which I'm assuming are beginner (atomizers?). Maybe I'll have to pick up a better/different one as well.

I quit smoking as soon as I bought the cheap/nasty e-cig from the convenience store. As mentioned, I found a reason to quit. That motivation and a much better setup has kept me from going back. (1month tomorrow) Don't give up, pick a day and just go for it. If you have a smoke, no big deal, pick up where you left off. Don't beat yourself up, be proud that you're trying to make a change.

I still smoke analogs plus vape. It really got to bothering me last week or so and when I commented on here everyone said that I would quit in time and for every analog that I don't smoke is great. I have all kinds of vape stuff(I have probably 40 bottles of 24 mg juice.) and keep buying more but still smoke analogs. I ordered another MVP2, VTR, Itaste V3 last night. I hope this helps me. I cut a mans hair today and his wife told me he had died and was brought back twice and when I asked was he sick he said he had copd. Then I asked the next question did he smoke and he did but he had quit. I want to quit but I just haven't got to that point yet where I can say completly goodbye to my friend the smoke.

When I started out vaping I used the V2 Starter kit at 18mg's and smoked for two weeks until I finished the carton of cigs I'd bought while waiting on the kit to arrive. After finishing the carton that normally would have been done in 5 days I bought 3 packs to keep just in case. It was a security blanket. I ended up giving 2 of those away and kept one at all times for the first 6 months. It terrified me not to have that one pack on me although I didn't smoke any. I eventually graduated up to joye ego's 1000mAh and found out what I was missing on as far as real throat hits. I have since bought eGo CE pass-throughs 1100mAhs, Vision Spinners 1300mAh, iTaste vv3, and an Innokin MVP 2. I have found a VTR at a really good price and am thinking of buying if it stays at this great deal, if not I'm saving for a provari. I think I'll be done at that point on pv's/apv's. I make my own juice so I'm happy there. I started DIY'ing my second month into vaping to save even more money but the biggest reason was because of all the subjectivity in peoples tastes. I was so lost as to what I should buy once I gave up V2's juice which was incredibly expensive. Fortunately I found a recipe fairly quickly that has been my goto and ADV since. I still dabble in making other flavors and enjoy them immensely. I love vaping and am so glad I decided to get into it and quit cigarettes. I don't plan on ever going back. Good luck to you and happy vaping! :vapor:

I use Kanger Mini Protank IIs, which are Pyrex and I have been redoing the coils with Kanthal wire and cotton wicks. I like em.

Im considering getting a couple more, I only have 2. At a minimum I think Ill snag one this week.

Its tempting to get lots of gear but this changes so fast its also smart to just vape what you got and wait a minute to see what is really effective from all the new things being offered.

I smoke moderately and I vape. I prefer vaping. I advocate for moderate smoking which ain't easy among people who have sworn to never ever touch one of those evil cancer causing cigarettes ever again. Moderate smoking doesn't have the same issues as heavy smoking does. I haven't had a smoke now in about 45 hours. Don't feel I need to have one. Not craving it. But still look forward to the next one, and I'll likely enjoy it.

Been vaping for 2 years now. I use a cigalike, with clearos and 18 mg juice. I'll still use pre-filled cartridges here and there. I love the abundance of flavors that comes with vaping, and that I can do it indoors around non-smokers who really don't seem to care if I vape right in front of them. Vaping is definitely less expensive in the long run, compared to heavy smoking. I currently spend about $20 a month on smoking.

Vape world has the VTR for 79.99 and it comes with battery plus 30ml bottle of juice and MBV has it for 120 with 20 % off on Monday and it comes with battery and 15 ml juice. Not trying to be nosey just trying to be helpful.

I just got the trition starter kit the other day and I love it. Check out Tribeca, kringles curse, longhorn ( Black and mild taste) and tiki. Those are the ones I like so far. Prime 15 and midnight apple are good to.
