I just wanted to share my recent experience with other newbies...

I just found out that the advice so many experienced folks give us newbsters regarding using higher nic content to help quit analogs is really, really valid.

I started out with low-nic juice (6-10 mg), and could puff on five 510s at a time all day - and *still* be dying for an analog to the point of still smoking half a pack of them a day at least right along with vaping (or trying to vape, mostly, in my case).

Today I'm test driving some 16 and 18 mg juice. Wow. What a difference. After at most three of four puffs of that I don't *want* an analog. Even the thought of one makes me slightly nauseous. So far I've had only three analogs today, and didn't really want them after being half-way through.

I'm following the advice of someone on this list (I'm sorry, I don't remember who), who said to go for the PV first when a craving for an analog strikes - and this advice really, really works with the right strength juice. I take my couple of puffs, and the desire for an analog mostly goes away.

So from now on I'm going to do what's so often adised here: use low nic juice for "recreational" and "relaxational" vaping, and use higher nic juice when a craving for an analog strikes.

This really, really works, folks. I didn't think anything would work for me, but this does. Maybe with time and patience I really will be able to quite analogs entirely. Thanks, all.

Cheers,
Briar.
