If this helps anyone and they learn from my mistakes then i'm glad I shared this.

So I had quit smoking for a month now. I had finally gone to just vaping and I was proud. Addiction is a hard thing to beat but I thought I had done it. I got so caught up in all the shiney mods that I had forgot to stock up on juice. I was down to my emergency bottle, and I call it my emergency bottle because it was a coffee juice that tastes horrible (in my opinion). These last few days have been terrible. Me and my girlfriend have been fighting non-stop, and I admit it was caused by my addiction. I finally broke down and in a moment of rage after us deciding to take time apart I went immediatly and got a pack and am now smoking. I won't be able to get any more juice until monday and this time I am ordering in bulk so this wont happen again.
The moral of my story is that quitting an addiction is easier when things are going well in your life. It's when things go downhill that your resolve is truly tested. My advice to anyone like me who has recently quit. Stock up on juice before everything else. And when you fall... Don't give up. Keep trying. I have seen the results of people who have gotten over the hump. Learn from your mistakes and take preventive measures so they don't happen again. End of rant

Every other time I quit, either cold turkey, or with some other form of NRT (gum, patches) it was always an extremely stressful situation, or excessive alcohol that made me fall of the wagon. With vaping I haven't had any issues during stressful moments or drinking. I did, however, put my fist through a window during an argument with my girlfriend last weekend. I'm sure that ER bill will be more than a pack of cigs.

I know the feeling. I have broken 2 phones, and my husband's forehead in a nic fit induced rage once. That was when he told me to try and quit cold turkey.....needless to say he now supports my vaping, and even vapes along with me. It's very difficult in those trying times to stay true to yourself, I have tried quitting for 4 years now and have failed every time, including a failure with vaping. It gets easier, or so I am told, so hang in there and keep trying.

You're not a failure unless you quit trying!

Glad you are picking yourself up and getting right back to vaping! I think we have all experienced that feeling of being out of control in certain situations.

What's so crazy about those times, when I look back on them, was that I was saying: "I'll show you, I'll hurt me!"

Thats pretty much verbetim my thought when I bought the pack crazy enough LOL

Funny... I love the taste of coffee. Thought I'd like to vape it... I've gotten coffee from three different vendors & pretty much just gave up on it. I buy a lot of vanilla now, so that I can mix it with all this coffee that I've got. Makes it bearable.

Sorry to hear about your relapse, but one day at a time is what I say. As long as you don't get back to smoking on the regular, every day is a good day.

Juice stock is paramount! 60 bottles at one time is the most I had. Then I got a kraken and a nemesis and found how truly bad most of the juice was. I am cutting my way through it and found I prefer heavy vg blends. So I got a bottle of vg with no nic nd that helps what high of juice in higher nic levels than I used to now last even longer and gives me the clouds I like and takes the edge off some intense flavors as my palate changes.

Less than a month ago my dad died. I was just visiting him the day before too.

I vaped 9ml of 24mg juice that day, but I didn't have a single stinky. You can handle any stressful situation without going back to cigarettes provided you're prepared for the possibility in advance.

And yes, the general priority is Juice first, shiny mods later.

I lost my dog last week--he went from a healthy, happy 5 yr old to gone in about 2 hours (blood clot to his brain). If ever I was going to smoke that would have done it for me. But I came home and cried and vaped and cried and vaped and then vaped some more. No cigs. This time I am never going back.

Fortunately I just got home from work and tried out a juice I found that I forgot I had. Its a gummybear juice I got from ZampleBox.... This will suffice and last me till monday when My juices come in. As long as the pg in it doesnt cause any reactions with me
I appreciate all the kind comments guys :D

Sorry for your troubles. I've been there (today even), with that feeling. What helped me was my network of friends who are now vaping. I have a bottle of my fav juice in 12mg (which now hits so hard!) though I'm at 6. Just in case, but I haven't gone for it yet in the worst of times. Always be prepared friend. Happy vaping, and gl with your future endeavors :)

Funny thing about juice, it doesn't have to be bought on-line and delivered by a guy in a spiffy government uniform; it can be bought at actual stores. A quick search in Google maps turns up one in Thomasville, less than an hour from Valdosta. The same company also has a store in Tifton. There may be others. Assuming you have access to a motor vehicle, I'd go out and get some tasty high-nic juice, vape it like I stole it, and the go make up with the GF. :D

Unfortunately I work all weekend, and don't have time for a trip like that. There are two Vape shops in Valdosta but unfortunately they don't do any custom blends. I'm allergic to PG so I have to pick and be very choosy :D I do appreciate the help, and my girlfriend and I have already made up since this morning~

I'm glad to hear these stories. I've only been vaping a week and I am one of those people who hasn't had a cig since I picked up my EVOD. However, I have been aware that if bad things were to happen in my life I would probably be reaching for an actual cigarette. I'm glad to know. Others have been able to weather a bad situation.

And even if it's so bad you smoke a few, it's not the end of the world.

Oops. In that case, you might want to consider buying some high-test nic in VG plus some straight VG (dirt cheap) to cut it with and stashing it somewhere for emergencies. Call me a 'doomsday prepper' if you will, but I think every vaper should have a year's worth of nic in the freezer; it takes up next to no space and costs not much more than you'd pay for a carton of traditional cigarettes.

I do appreciate the help, and my girlfriend and I have already made up since this morning~
About a decade ago, I had quit cold turkey for a few days, at which point my wife (who has never been a smoker) told me that if I wanted to stay married, I'd better start smoking again. :D

I will definitely be looking into that :D Also does it ever go bad?
