I know the first thing you will say is go to see a doctor... but that costs money and I think I've found the cause

I've been vaping for a few months now... I'm just now getting to the point where I can go days without an analog...

after a day sometimes 2 without an analog I'll notice that when I go pee at night(but only once this happens not every time i go pee at night). i will urinate a small amount of blood at the end of the pee...

but if i smoke an analog i don't pee blood at all... (normally only half an analog if I smoke at all)

soo.... smoking = no blood
not smoking=blood

this is really odd...

I tested it for about 2 weeks... and it is related to quitting smoking I can safely say that...

and I know I need to go see a doctor... it's never a good thing to pee blood... specially at the end of urinating... can point to kidney problems... the problem is I can't afford it...

But why would not smoking cause me to urinate blood... this is really odd

*edit*

This could also have something to do with an infection I've got due to dental problems... this has caused blood in the urine before... but not sure why smoking would make it stop...

Does it burn when you pee? Do you have a low grade fever?
I can tell you that if I saw blood coming from my urethra, I would be taking little Willie to see the doctor. (Or the health clinic at the very least).
While checking you (for free) for an STD, maybe the health clinic can give you a free diagnosis or at least a list of probable causes.
Heck..... my screams alone would have brought out the emergency response brigades if I saw blood coming from my favorite extremity!

Damn skippy!

Maybe a vaping doctor will chime in here.

I can safely say I don't have an std. I have been checked not too long ago, and my GF was checked just a few days ago at her annual women's appointment.

no pain no fever. I have been living with the minor infection due to dental problems for about 2 years... but can't get that taken care of because of the cost...

And I was a little freaked but not the first time this has happened to me

once when I was bit by a black widow (actually twice... was bitten two different times)
and then when the infection in my mouth got really bad.

But I just got dental coverage... i just need to save up enough to get the work done so I can finally be rid of that problem.

Unless you are on some type of blood thinner, blood from the urethra is not normal. There could be a tear in the valve thingy that decides whether urine or semen comes out....... you could have epiditimitus (sp?) or any number of things wrong.
Usually if there is an infection causing the blood, it is accompanied by burning during urination. But hey, I'm no doctor and you need one.
Maybe call a urologist and ask them what you should do in your circumstances?

Are you 100 % sure it is blood? there are a number of things that can cause urinary discolorations. The idea to check at the local (usually free) STD Public health Clinic is an excellent one at least for sure they can do a dip stic to see if it is actually blood.Just please get it checked out there is no price you can put on your health! Good luck and let us know!

Nicotine is a vaso constrictor, meaning that it constricts your blood vessels. So there could be a small bleed somewhere that when your vessels constrict with nicotine use slows to the point that it's not noticeable, but opens up if there is less or no nicotine. I'm not a doctor so take that idea for what it's worth. Either way, that is not an area of the body that you want to take ANY kind of chances on. I'd call your county health department and see if they have a doctor you can see. I know here ours has a sliding scale for payment based on income.

I am very sorry you are having this problem but... WAKE UP AND GO SEE A DOCTOR, IMMEDIATELY.

You think you've found the cause? And it cost money? The value of your life vs. money? I am going to cut you some slack here and choose to think that you are just really scared and pray that you will muster up the courage to... GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW!

I will he going as soon as I get the chance.

And as tongue I have the money... No I really don't. Did you know that just for talking to a doctor here it's over 1,000$ and that's not including the price of treatment.

Pretty steep for someone who makes around 12,000 a year.

But I promise I will be going in and getting things checked out. I'll have to look for a free clinic or something or just take the hit to my credit score and go to the hospital (but better than being dead if it is serious)

At one point when I was a young man - much too young and seemingly healthy to be having medical problems - I noticed a slight pinkish color to my urine. Not being a big wine drinker and having had several glasses of red wine with the previous night's dinner, I attributed the discoloration to the wine.

Fortunately, I was dating a nurse who insisted I see a doctor. I had no insurance but my father's urologist agreed to check me out. Turns out I had a congenital kidney defect and my left kidney was withering into nothing. He told me to schedule time off for a radical nephrectomy (removal of the kidney to save the patient's life) within the next three months.

I told him I couldn't afford to miss any work, reminded him didn't have insurance, and asked him what other options I had.

He said NONE; I could either have it removed within three months or soon thereafter it would (not could but WOULD) rupture and kill me within three minutes.

Blood in urine is always a serious issue and you need to seek medical attention immediately, insurance or not. Please.

Good luck.

If you have no other options (free and low-cost clinics are much better options if you have any available), go to the emergency room in your local most-major hospital. They are legally required to see you even if you don't have a dime. They aren't required to give you any kind of long-term treatment, and they will certainly bill you and send you to collections if you don't pay, but they will see you and will tell you if you have anything really serious going on and may be able to hook you up with some kind of financial assistance.

Seriously, don't mess with this. Blood in the urine is one of those things that can be indicative of serious, as in life-threatening, problems. (Not to scare you too bad, blood in the urine can also be caused by relatively minor things, but you don't want to take the chance.)

I agree with the others. Please. See a doctor.

Mark me down as another person who had a life-threatening problem at a young age. A problem that was easily recitified with treatment, and is now no longer a problem and never will be again. But it can and does happen to young people. You're not immune to being very sick.

Blood in the urine is a big deal. I understand that you don't have insurance, and you don't have money. I've been there. I truly do understand. And I have waited months to get minor problems (which I was absolutely positive were minor) looked at, because I had no insurance. It was very uncomfortable, but I've done it.

I understand that no sane human being wants to be in debt. Knowing you're in debt, especially if it's a lot, is a pretty crappy thing to wake up and remember every morning.

But blood in the urine is not a minor problem. And there is no amount of money too large for what it could cost you if you don't get this looked at.

Maybe it will be relatively minor. And maybe you'll feel stupid for spending that money.

But maybe it will be major. And maybe that money you will be what you paid to save your life.

Do you want to play that roulette wheel?

Please, please, please see a doctor. Look into Medicaid. Check out your options. Try to minimize the hit you'll take. But please, please go.

Medicaid? Cali used to give it ppl under 24. ummm you're under 24, have a low income job. You should be able to get at least copay medicaid, if not free insurance. You would have to go the providers at the county hospitals but it is better than nothing. havent been in Ca for 10 years but back then I had Medicaid, then I got too old. You should apply. I think you can apply online now.
